Stay in the 1st floor suite of an old brownstone home in Powelton Village - a residential neighborhood in West Phila. within walking distance to the Univ. of Penn, Drexel University & the Art Museum on the Benjamin Franklin Pkwy. The house is a 10-minute drive to Center City restaurants & shopping. Suite includes a sitting room, bedroom, and private bath. Amenities incl. microwave, fridge, dinner table, washer/dryer, and use of a full kitchen.

House is located on a quiet, tree-lined street consisting of both year-round residents and college students.
It is a 'lived in' 125 year-old home with creaky doors, bookcases filled to capacity, old bathroom fixtures, etc. and not to be mistaken for a space out of Martha Stewart Living. The space is cozy, lamplit, and has character for those who appreciate such features.
There is a choice of air conditioning or ceiling fans in both the bedroom and sitting room in the summer months - whatever your preference.
There is 2-hr street parking from 10-3 pm Mon-Fri in front of the house. Free street parking also available on surrounding blocks 24 hrs/day. Street parking permitted 24 hrs/day on Sat. & Sun.

The suite is located inside a private home and has its own locking door. A set of keys are provided upon arrival. The space also includes a private sitting room. A large front porch is available for morning coffee or evening relaxation.
