My place is close to Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, nightlife, downtown, parks, & theaters. You'll have the entire 3rd floor guest suite, which has its own private entrance and staircase but no kitchen. You’ll love the cozy historic character, the light, and the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. Please note, there are two very steep staircases, and is not ADA accessible.
The Samuel Pearson house, built in 1806, is a stately brick home typical of early 19th century Providence architecture. The 3rd floor, which has its own private side entrance and stairwell, is beautifully finished as a guest suite with two bedrooms and a spacious light-filled bathroom. Wide-plank floors, original moldings, and pitched ceilings create cozy historic charm, while skylights and dormer windows provide lots of light. Just a short walk from RISD, Brown, historic Benefit street, shopping, bars, & restaurants, this an ideal spot to experience historic New England architecture while exploring everything Providence has to offer.
Guests will have the entire 3rd floor. There is no kitchen, but there is a coffee and tea station, and mini-fridge.
We live on the second floor, and are readily available via phone or text, and if any urgent issues arise, a knock on our door!
There are two very steep and narrow staircases up to the 3rd floor, this space is not ADA accessible.
