I've lived in Butte 20 years, the longest I've lived anywhere. I bought my house 6 years ago and share it with 3 cats. The house was built in 1915 and is a work in progress. I am a Speech Pathologist by training and currently work for a private rehab clinic. I love to quilt, though have little time to do so, love to listen to jazz, enjoy watching action movies, reading Nora Roberts and eating Italian food.
My home is NOT ADA compliant. You'll have to climb 15 steps to get to the porch and front door. While I enjoy entertaining, I'll try not to intrude on your time in my home. I would enjoy getting to chat with you, if that fits into your plans. I'm fairly easy going and since this is your vacation want you to enjoy it and do as you please. You'll have the main floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom (no shower) to yourself. You can always use my shower, upstairs, if you need or prefer a shower, but please let me know. I'd prefer you not cook in my home, but have been known to offer breakfast and/or dinner on occasion when cooking for myself. I do not have a microwave. I have a Keurig for coffee/tea. You're welcome to use cups, glasses, plates and silverware, should you prefer bringing food back to the house.
I am 1/2 mile SE from Montana Tech. A little less than 1 mile from Historic UpTown Butte. There is a walking trail on the way up to Tech.
