A quiet retreat in the heart of a gorgeous green valley, this secluded getaway offers the perfect escape from the city for couples, solo adventureres and business travellers.
With a private entry to your space, this room provides all you will need to relax, unwind and enjoy the pristine surrounds of the Dandenongs.
Nestled in a quiet corner of the beautiful Dandenong ranges, your private room has an entry completely seperate from the larger homestead; it is your space to use as a base whilst visiting all the surrounding area has to offer, or to retreat away from the world in. A stately old home lovingly renovated, the room has classic trimmings to complement your stay and make your feel completely at home.
Your room has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. A significant drawcard is the luxurious deep bath in the large bay window, perfect for soaking in whilst reading a book with a glass of champagne. With a double shower, seperate heater, large walk in robe and a television, you may be tempted to just stay in for your time at Willunga!
The double doors open up to a private balcony, where you can enjoy a spot of bird-watching; your host Dean has spotted over 50 varieties of birds in the area, so keep your eyes peeled!
If you do venture outside the property, the main street of the Mount Evelyn township is just a short walk away, with a host of cafes and restaurants to try. The historic Lilydale Warburton Rail Trail is also close to your private retreat, perfect for bike-riders or walkers.
At the foothills of the Dandenongs, Willunga is also the perfect spot for those wanting to explore the Yarra Valley. One of Victoria's premiere food and wine regions, the rollings hills of the Yarra Valley offers a plethora of wonderful experiences just waiting for you to find.

I am a music teacher at 3 private schools around Melbourne and I also perform in jazz clubs, corporate functions and theatre pit work.
I love travelling, and spent a lot of my child hood school holidays in East Gippsland. I have also seen quite a bit of outback Australia. I have spent a lot of time in Asia, and I lived in Shanghai China for 6 months back in 2006. I love going fishing and nature. I am an avid bird watcher, and I have noted over 50 varieties of native birds on my property.
