This village house is close to many area attractions. It is a short walk from both the general store and the public beach on beautiful Caspian Lake. Other Greensboro highlights: Hill Farmstead Brewery, hiking and ski trails, miles of scenic walking and biking possibilities. You’ll love our place because of the cozy farmhouse feel and accessibility to all that the Northeast Kingdom has to offer to couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with children.
This home was the original farmhouse for Lauredon Farm which was until 1972 a large working dairy farm in the village of Greensboro. The house has been updated and renovated over the years with the integrity of it's farmhouse roots in mind. We hope you enjoy this cozy and beautiful space as much as we do!
You will have access to the first and second floor of the house with the exception of the one room marked private. (You may request a "special offer if you choose to use only the first floor.) You are also welcome to utilize the outside space with the exception of the barn and the garage. There is a great little sledding hill for the kiddos in the side yard!
There is no cell phone service in Greensboro, so plan accordingly. There is wifi available at the house and a land line for local calls and emergencies.
This is a very large space. If you are interested in using only the first floor, which includes one queen bedroom and a full bath, ask us about a special offer excluding use of the second floor.
- Please treat our home as you would your own, and leave it as you found it. Guest pets are not allowed, and smoking is only to happen outside.
