This is a completely inaccurate review. I thought a family of four had booked the cottage. Instead it was a group of four plus adult men, none of which were the one who had made the reservation (not allowed). When we got a call that their were "bees in the house" we went down there immediately to find all four (adult) men playing video games in the living room with every single door to the house wide open. One of the guests was particularly upset that his thumb had gotten stung because he badly needed it to keep gaming. Come on. Pay attention. There was no bees nest in the kitchen, but yes if you leave doors open and lights on when its dark, you might attract insects into the house. Either way, if your only needs of a space are to pack a living room full of actual grown men so that you can play video games for a week like children then yes we are absolutely not the place for you and we are fundamentally incompatible people. If you want to stay in an awesome old cottage from the thirties and actually go outside, engage, be on a farm, than yes, we are the place for you!
