We thank Kathleen for her review. While it was mixed we appreciate her feedback. Clearly she was not altogether pleased with our street level unit, and that's okay. A couple things we take issue with. There are three windows in the front, two in the living room and one in the study (see photos). The dining room has a domed plastic ceiling that lets in light from the large roof skylite. The "garbage room" is a skylite covered shaft that lets in light and air. The trash can is in that space, as is the water heater, cleaning equipment and (often) extra water bottles. Our house is not on an "alley." It's a narrow street that dead ends near our house (see photos) as was mentioned in our property description. Homes front all up and down both sides of the street. An alley is usually thought of as a narrow lane allowing access to back yards.
