From start to end this beautiful accommodation was really amazing. Friendly and accommodating hosts with clean areas and fun space all around to explore and enjoy your time away. Great for families. We really loved meeting all the horses and the feeling of being in nature with great play areas for the kids too. Pet friendly which was a big plus for our family dog we brought with. Would definitely come back again. Thank you for everything ✨❤️🇿🇦🇿🇦🙌🏽

We had a wonderful stay so have booked to go back again in two weeks time. The cottage is beautiful and had an old world charm although it had all the modern amenities too - eg. renovated bathroom and kitchenette etc. It had a lovely garden which was completely fenced off so it was safe for our two little dogs. The security was excellent (for nervous city dwellers) with an alarm system, garden beams and a lockable garden gate. It’s so well located, being in a historic part of town - with coffee shops, delis and restaurants walking distance away - yet its actual position is quiet with a farm-like feel (but it’s only one road back from the main road). The cherry ontop was the freshly baked loaf of bread welcoming us on our arrival!! (The owners of the cottage have a bakery/deli around the corner) We devoured half the loaf on arrival, smothered in butter (bring your own butter). Yum 😋

We had a superb stay at Pecan Tree Cottage. Phil had amazing recommendations for our stay which included where to stop along our route from Cape Town, as well as local wine farms, and restaurants. The cottage is so well equipped and comfortable, and the welcome treats were over and above what one would expect. I highly recommend this property for a trip to the Montagu area. We'll be back!

The perfect escape! This secluded mountain cabin was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature and breathtaking mountain views. We loved the hot tub under the stars and the beautiful nearby hikes. The hosts were wonderful—thoughtful and respectful. A lovely little getaway we can’t wait to return to!

Andre was a great host, when we arrived the fireplace was already on and a few lights, we walked into a warm cozy house in the middle of a rainy cold day we thought that was a wonderful touch of kindness. The house is well equipped and very comfortable beds and linen. We really enjoyed our stay, the play area was great for the kids. We would definitely recommend staying

If you are looking for the most amazing views and a break away from reality, this place is perfect. The views are amazing. The people are really friendly and helpfull. We had breakfast which was great. It is a real find. There are limited KolKol's available so be sure to book that prior to arriving if you want to use it. There is one with an amazing view which I will highly reccomend! One thing to note is that the KolKol is not included in the price which wasn't stated on the AirBnb booking. Can not recommend this place high enough! Do yourself a favour and visit it!

Great house for a family get together. Large patio with outdoor bbq/braai. Lovely pool. Lots of space to spread out.
