Orchard and its sister cottage Woodend are situated on Le Vallon, a boutique farm within easy walking distance of the quaint village of Franschhoek, the food and wine capital of South Africa. Each cottage is fully self-contained and perfect for families of all ages. They both have private pools in their good sized private cottage gardens. From the farm it is an easy stroll down into the village main street, but just far enough away to give you the piece and quiet of a rural setting.

Historic Sunflower Cottage, Tranquil and Romantic

Sunflower Cottage is a romantic self-catering cottage in McGregor, and is one of the oldest and most loved historical houses in the village. Originally built in the 1880’s, its thick adobe walls, original mud floors, reed ceilings and thatched roof are natural insulators against the heat and cold of the Little Karoo. Located in a quiet corner of the village, the cottage is perfect for couple getaways, to explore this historical town and surrounding winelands.

Potato Patch Self Catering Cottage

This versatile thatched roofed cottage offers contemporary country comfort with a dash of history. It is one of the two cottages located on the owners property offering its own entrance and private garden. During winter, when you might even encounter snow on the mountains, your very own baby Godin wood burner makes sure you are toasty warm. In summer, guests are invited to use the recently built pool. A five minute walk will get you to the village center.

Hanepoot Cottage on Franschhoek farm

Hanepoot Cottage is close to Franschhoek village. You’ll love the cottage because of the spacious, private, setting on a working wine and fruit farm nestled against the mountains of Franschhoek Valley. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). You are welcome to explore the farm and even practice your chipping and putting skills on the green.There is an inverter to provide electricity during loadshedding periods.

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages are about 9 km from Caledon and 25 km from Hermanus. The cottage offer accommodation for up to 4 guests.
