Linens and bedding All linens, towels and laundry are cleaned at a commercial-grade laundry facility and in accordance with CDC guidelines. We eliminate excess contact and minimize potential spread of germs by bagging dirty linen during transport. Overall Cleaning and Disinfecting. Disinfected and sanitised high-touch surfaces at our property. This includes wiping down any and all items that guests, owners and service-providers come into contact with, including keys, doorknobs table tops, appliances, electronics, and light switches. HOT TUBS WILL BE IN USE. Hot tubs will have fresh water in for each change over and will have been sanatized. We are constantly checking for public health advice, and currently we are unaware of any public health evidence that suggests that it's unsafe to bathe in hot tub water, provided it is correctly sanitised and also the correct pH level. In order to keep any risks to a minimum. Does a hot tub kill the coronavirus? COVID-19 is not technically a living organism and therefore cannot be 'killed' as such. Unfortunately they will be no allowances for early or late check-in/check-outs with the current situation of covid-19. Check in time is after 5pm. Check out time is before 9am. Changes to facilities. Extra Cushions .Salt & pepper pots. Crockery, cutlery,untensils, kettle,toaster and pans will still be provided.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

The Shepherd Hut at The Old Police House

A traditional bespoke Shepherd Hut in a semi rural location. The hut is positioned a few steps from the Llangollen canal and a three min walk from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.Offas Dyke runs along the towpath .There are two excellent pubs a few minutes walk, post office ,pizza takeaway and cafe. The Hut is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is direct access to the tow path on which you can walk for miles. I currently have a minimum 2 nights stay but may allow 1 night stay please ask

Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.
