We stayed at Sebastian's place for a short weekend trip for the running festival in Jim Thorpe with family. The house if very clean and easily accessible. Near town and other amenities. Plenty of things to do around the area. We ended up being a little bit late check out due to a whitewater rafting trip and Sebastian was very understanding. We had an amazing time at this place and definitely well come back! Thank you

Cozy, nice place to stay near Jim Thorpe! Overall we loved our stay. The place was clean and cozy, perfect for a family or small group. We loved the hot tub to relax, kitchen/living room space to spend time together, and convenient washer/dryer. The twin beds upstairs are better for children - the mattresses were not super comfortable, and the beds were a bit cramped, being so close to the sloped attic ceiling. The upstairs space would have been perfect for older kids to have their own, tucked-away play area. You may want to bring additional glassware (or plasticware) and towels. There were coffee mugs and glasses for one meal for ~5 people, but we were constantly washing them to use again. No shotglasses, in case you will need those. The house is st4ocked with many towels for the hot tub and shower (some tucked away in corners - keep looking!), but I found they would get soaked from one use because they were so thin.

Betsy Lee is friendly and helpful! She greeted us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable instantly. An eagle perched on a branch less than 100 ft away from the porch, and regularly patrolled the creek over the 4 days and nights that we enjoyed in the subtle creek sounds and early signs of spring. With Rickets Glen close by, this is likely to be a destination we revisit in the future. If you are looking for local things to do, Betsy Lee has you covered… and if you just want to lounge the hours away in the romantic tree nest apartment and porch, she’s more than happy to give you your privacy. This stay had the best view! The inside was cozy and super clean. We felt right at home during our stay. Bill was friendly and so nice. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Drowsy Beaver Cabin! Stacy, our host, was so helpful in all of her communications and very responsive. She was so thoughtful that she even left really good gluten-free snacks after asking if any of us has food allergies. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous with really great indoor and outdoor spaces that have stunning views and a warm, comfortable feel. There were thoughtful touches throughout, such as soft throw blankets to snuggle up with in the living room, a stock of wood for the fireplace and fire pit with fire starter, a jar with cotton balls and qtips the bathroom, a stock of k-cups and creamer, maps from the two big state parks nearby, flyers from recommended stores and so much more. We walked in and felt instantly cozy and at home. It was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake. We will absolutely be going back for more stays at the Drowsy Beaver. We had an amazing time at the lake house. Everything was on point. The view from the back deck is beautiful. The game room was a great touch. Me and the boys had a wonderful time. I will be back
