Northern Lights Villa

5 min from the city and 15 min from center we have just finished our house at a wonderful quiet location. The surroundings during summertime are birds forrest and berries. Lake very close by. During wintermonths we have the privilege of a private show of the world famous northern lights. Some bus drivers know about this spot and sometimes they bring their passengers to our neighbourhood to enjoy the show. In the master bedroom we have a big window in the roof to be able to watch and stay warm.

Loftið is surrounded with fir trees and birch, moss and mountains, with hiking trails all around, and near by is the lake Hafravatn. 2 km to the next grocery store, and 3 km to the center of Mosfellsbæ, where you can find a bakery, restaurants and library. About 600 meters to the bus stop, where you can take the bus to Reykjavík centrum.

Studio apartment located on a farm only 20 minutes from Reykjavík!:) on the way to the golden circle which offers room for two people. Come and stay at our farm and visit our wonderful animals and/or get fresh egg from our chickens in the morning to cook in the apartment. There are also fun experiences around our farm such as a lot of beautiful hiking trails, horse riding and more. It's a very good location to plan day trips from. If there are northern lights you can see right outside the door.
