Southend is perfect for fishing, sailing, swimming or just lazing on the beach. A surf beach is situated between Southend and Beachport. Southend has a small shop that is licensed and sells basic groceries. It has a takeaway fish and chip shop open weekends (6 days during summer).There is a local community club open weekends (open for meals in summer).Restaurants and other shopping is available in Beachport and Millicent, both a short drive away. We would like to stress this property is our own beach house. It is not resort standard accommodation. There isn't any air conditioning only fans and basic heating. Our pricing reflects this. It should be viewed as a comfortable base for exploring the area and other activities : fishing, boating, surfing and 4 wheel driving.

Bathroom accessed from 2nd Bedroom. All linen supplied. Coffee machine, microwave, airfryer. It has a cosy family feel, sit back, relax and enjoy the view. Rate is for 2 adults and children stay free. Pet friendly for a small fee. There is a new fully enclosed/fenced dog yard, enter from back gate.

The bathroom has a shower over bath and is fitted out with red cedar and Blackwood. The cottage is Tim and Pam's eclectic mix of antiques' wood, bears and a touch of art deco. PS. The maximum guests incl. children is 6. Airbnb give us no way of listing max. number of people, only adults.
