Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. Spillway Cabin’s (Brand new!) West Cabin

The Spillway Cabins are new construction with new everything! Our little slice of heaven is yours to explore and enjoy. Each cabin(west and east) have 2 br/2bth, hot tub, gas grill, Starlink internet, large flatscreen TV’s, fully stocked kitchen, and fire pits! From the south side of the cabins you will find a pathway that will take you through our 7 acres of woods and down to a lakeside pergola that has comfortable outdoor furniture, a bar, and view of our beloved Centralia Lake and spillway.

Bald Knob Cabin

Located in heart of Shawnee National Forest, Bald Knob Wilderness and River To River Trail , is a former orchard turned cozy hiker/biker haven. Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass. No WIFI or TV!

Our local area has many hiking opportunities to explore, the Southern Illinois Wine Trail surrounds us, and the back roads have country views that are breathtaking. Our cabin will be waiting for your arrival or return, well equipped with a 55" TV above the gas fireplace, a comfortable King size bed, and an amazing back porch with a Weber Grill and huge hot tub.

Tucked into the rolling hills of the Shawnee National Forest, our modern cabin offers a welcoming retreat where comfort and nature meet. Wander down a private trail to explore or climb at the Holy Boulders, or take an easy drive to local wineries and see the iconic sights of Little Grand Canyon, Inspiration Point, and Pomona Natural Bridge. When you’re ready to slow down, return to soak in the hot tub, unwind in the sauna, and settle into our cabin made for rest and connection.

Our cabin is just minutes away from the Trail of Tears, Dixon Springs State Park, the delicious Chocolate Factory, the towns of Golconda, Metropolis, and the bigger city of Paducah.
