Summer House Rarotonga is a studio with mosquito screens in the windows and air conditioning. An outdoor covered deck with a beautiful view of the mountains. Great for couples, solo travellers or if visiting for business. Unlimited wifi access is included in the nightly fee. The unit is situated on the back road 5mins from the airport and 15mins walk to the Island’s main town of Avarua. Car, scooter and bicycle rentals are also en route to town Check in time is 2pm and check out 10am.

We are located in Avarua near the historical Avarua church, Makea Palace, Cook Islands National Museum and in walking distance to town, markets, restaurants, cafes, movie theatre, bus stop, the waters edge and a 10 min bus ride to Muri beach.

Absolute beachfront house for you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. With uninterrupted ocean views this is one of the best locations to whale watch because the reef is close to the shore. From June to October the majestic Humpback whales enter Cook Island territory for mating and birthing of their calves. They often come in to play near the reef, so you can be lucky and watch a great show from the house deck or the shoreline.

The Beach Place

The bungalow is located on Tikioki Beach, at the southern end of Muri Beach and has the advantages of being on the ’right’ side of the island without being in the centre of the Muri Beach developed area. The best restaurants and other attractions are a comfortable walk down the beach, while privacy is assured. The wide lagoon in front of the bungalow is on the edge of a large marine reserve, with the best snorkeling on Rarotonga.
