A simple delicious breakfast and hot drink supplies also await. The perfect place for a stopover on your road trip, or to set up as a central base!

The Hideaway is part of the owner’s art studio complex with its own deck. Guests will be greeted by med sized dog! Only 5km from town, facilities include dbl bed, smart TV, fridge, m-wave, toaster, hotplate, washing machine, clothes rack. Tea, coffee, herbal teas and light breakfast provided. The Signal Box Riverside Accommodation- Whanganui

Stay in a beautifully restored New Zealand Railway Signal Box. This building has plenty of character and spectacular elevated views of the Whanganui River. Relocated in the late 1990's to its current position, the Signal Box is set on 5 acres of land with the adjacent family home, chicken run and farmland. Check out our website for more information. We are situated on Papaiti Road, on the true righthand side of the Whanganui River, approximately 8km up the river from the centre of the city.

Comfortable cosy cottage beside Mt Ruapehu. Ideal for bikers, Tongariro Crossing hikers or photographers exploring the local scenery. Independent so you can come and go at will. Full kitchen (though basic with retro fridge and no dishwasher), TV, DVDs and Chromecast, unlimited wifi, laundry, heating & aircon. One double room and one room with 2 singles (that can push together), plus a couch bed in the living room and a travel cot. From mid-May to Oct book 'Shannon Cottage (winter)' instead.
