The excellent location of the cottage makes it the perfect choice for a family get away. With beautiful views in all directions and away from any trafic, noise and light pollution (which is perfect for northern lights), the only thing you will hear is the river running down the mountain. It is located only 3 kilometres from Seljalandsfoss waterfall and 4 km from the road N 1. It is the perfect base to visit all the main highlights of the south coast (Golden circle, black sand beach, Dyrh laey, Vik, glacier lagoon...) This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home. As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, a freezer and a microwave. The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and hi-speed internet access (wifi) There is one bedroom in this cottage which contains a double bed. The additional sleeping space is a double sofa bed (you can close it off with curtains). The bathroom has a washing machine and walk-in shower. Linen and towels are included. House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. - Smoking is not allowed. - There are on-site parking facilities available at the property. - A washing machine is included for your use. - Pets are not allowed at the property.

The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, open living and dining room area. Outdoor terrace, private entrance and free parking. Fjósið-Hallgeirsey is the perfect place to stay to explore the south coast, located 23 km from Hvolsvöllur (restaurants and grocery store) and only 10 min drive from the main road (15km).

Experience the charm of a lovingly restored 1950s farmhouse during your exploration of South Iceland. Perfect for families, friends, or a romantic retreat. The farmhouse features a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a cozy bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and a living room (= second bedroom) with a double bed. For families with infants, a crib can be provided upon request (babies aged 0-2). An extra bed for families with three children is also available upon request.

Livingroom with fully equipped kitchen, oven, electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator. The water💧is heated with electric water heater. The cottage is heated with electric floor heating. Parking at the premises.
