We absolutely love this location. Used to come here when the dogs & kid were younger. The magic is still there! So beautiful & peaceful. Loved the outdoor bath- plenty of warm water. Perfect break from the hustle and bustle.

Mokihinui is a very special place. Private, peaceful, with some of NZ’s most stunning scenery on your doorstep and an easy explore away. The bach is everything you need and the campground, approx 1km down the road provides great coffee. The Beach Cabin at Mokihinui was everything we were looking for. We enjoyed a great long weekend here. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog and the hosts were very friendly. Great location, right across from the domain and beach access.

A charming taste of New Zealand beach-bach life. Centrally located an right near the beach. After staying in motels on the road with 3 elderly parents, it was lovely to be in a home for a while. The kitchen was brilliantly set up for cooking - everything item I needed was just there. There was a cold snap while we stayed and the fire was wonderful to heat the home. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Interesting books to peruse. Great tips for local food, trips and hokitika provided. I would definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a home away from home.

Great group accomodation which provides sufficient space to either socialise or be independent. Lovely amenities and garden on the sea. Highly recommend.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

Great accommodation, very comfortable, good location. If I had to find something wrong with the place - there was no laundry and we only had the one towel each for our 5 day stay. Other than that we really enjoyed our time at Heather’s. 😊

Staying at Anthea & Wayne's B&B was a delight! The clean, tidy bedroom offered stunning sunset sea views from the hill. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for our needs for simple breakfast, and the outdoor BBQ added a lovely touch. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! Five stars all the way!

Kirsty’s place was perfect for our stay while we were in hokitika for South Island rowing masters champs. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay. One of the best we have ever stayed in. The accommodation is spacious and clean and the gardens are outstanding with up to 4 seating areas to choose from with some having the most incredible sea views. Paul is a wonderful host and great company. I could not recommend this highly enough - an absolute gem.
