“Tahanan”meaning home in Palawan

My family and I had such a lovely stay at Tahanan! Travelling with two small children, we enjoyed the spacious area and it had everything we needed for an extended stay. The place was well kept and very clean and we appreciated that there were extra supplies and toiletry for every day use. The rooms were very comfortable and having an extra bedroom was a plus! The location was perfect as it was central and very walkable to all the malls, eateries, restaurants, convenience stores, the local beach and sight-seeing places in Puerto Princesa. It is also only about a 5 minute drive from the airport! If you need to commute, it is only a 3-minute walk to the highway where you can take a cab or a tricycle. The neighbourhood was quiet and the unit has its own space apart from the other units beside it. Rodel was great to communicate with, always reachable and very accommodating to any of our requests. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be staying at Tahanan again!

Leslie's place was in a lovely quiet area with easy transport links (Trikes) to the centre of town. The bed was super big and very comfortable! Other reviews have mentioned the smell - to us this smelt like new plastic in the heat, and was localised to the kitchen/bathroom so isn't a big problem, and we felt like just the nature of having new things in a hot country.

Quiet Room in a Peaceful Garden

Sandra und ihr Mann sind zwei ganz herzliche Menschen. Als ihr Mann mich beim Flughafen abgeholt hat, habe ich mich schon sehr wohl gefühlt. Sandras Vater hat immer wieder Essen für mich in den Kühlschrank gestellt und wirklich eine herzliche Familie, die es sich lohnt kennenzulernen. Das Zimmer ist nett und braucht ein bisschen mehr Belüftung. Was möglich ist da Ventilator und AC zur Verfügung stehen. Der Garten ist wunderschön, die Vögel zwitschern und ich habe mich in der Früh immer gerne hingesetzt und den Vögeln gelauscht. Von Herzen alles Gute für die Familie. Sandra hilft dir, wenn du einen Roller mieten willst und auch bei allem anderen, was du brauchst.

Lovely Room for 2 in Peaceful Surroundings

Had a wonderful stay at this peaceful place surrounded by nature, and the calming sounds of birds. Sandra and her lovely family were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some tranquility!

Our host made us feel right at home from booking to check out. Super responsive, great recommendations, and the most friendly service. I had the pleasure of sitting down and having a wonderful chat with the hosts, definitely a highlight of my stay here. The building is grand and beautiful. I really hope I get the chance to come back and stay much longer.

I count be more please with my stay… twinkle and her family made it all SO EASY and enjoyable… nice spacious clean rooms and WELL WORTH THE PRICE! She even helped me to get a scooter to rent to get around Palowan- and made excellent recommendations of laces to go!!!
