Our no-frills shepherd’s hut sits by the Drava River and a big wild meadow, just 4 km from Ptuj, Slovenia’s oldest town. Nature lovers (and friendly dogs) welcome! A nearby road offers easy access. Enjoy a BBQ lunch by the river, then relax as the sun sets, frogs sing, and stars light up the night sky. For the full countryside experience, earplugs are optional! Your vacation will be an experience, because our town Ptuj has a medieval castle, monasteries, monuments, wine cellars, a spa, golf and tennis courts, good restaurants and hospitable people.

About almost 8 years ago we found a wonderfull place in the hills around Maribor. Sharing this special place with good people made us so happy, that we decided to built facilities to stay. So we started to renovate our little garbage hut and tool shed, building a little bath house and a bigger tent for families. By renting the small cottages, we can combine the joy of sharing this place with living a little bit of it.
