Casa Milorca Cottage Suite

The Karoo-style Cottage Suite sleeps two and is tucked away in the pretty gardens behind the main house at Casa Milorca, which was built in 1860 and is situated in one of Prince Albert's prettiest streets in the historic heart of the town. The cottage has a king-size bed with quality white bed linen, and there is an en suite bathroom with shower, as well as a compact lounge and dining area. The kitchenette area has washing up facilities, a toaster, kettle, microwave and bar fridge, and basic kitchen utensils. There is also a tea and coffee station with home-baked rusks. The Cottage Suite, which has its own private verandah, can also be configured with two single beds instead of a king-size bed. Thanks to air-conditioning the cottage is cool in summer and warm in winter; there is also has a standing fan if that is preferred.

Karoo Country Style Guest suite

We would love you to stay in our Country Style guest suite, which is situated in a large leafy garden with a swimming pool, which guests are welcome to relax in and use. Secure parking is available on property. Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. The guest suit is attached to the main house but not shared with the main house. It has its own outdoor entrance and covered living area, so privacy is ensured. The light and airy rooms are decorated with love.

Vogelsang Farm Cottage | Self Catering

This private open-plan self catering farm cottage offers old-world charm with a stylish, minimalist touch. Designed for eco-conscious living, it runs on minimal electricity and features a fridge-freezer, water cooler, gas stove, and gas geyser. Tucked along a little stream, boasting with bird life, this private large 60 sq meter (650sq feet) 2 bedroom apartment provides a sense of peace and tranquility although conveniently located within the town in one of the most desirable areas of Oudtshoorn. The suite has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, private living room, a kitchenette & large balcony. As an added bonus, the bathroom has been COMPLETELY renovated in early 2023. Privacy and space is important to some extinguished guests..... The doors open onto your own garden where you can relax under the trees or enjoy the hot Karoo sun on the pool lounger. In winter the fireplace heats up the entire suite right to your bath when you feel like floating in the water with the crackle of wood to complete a romantic breakaway.

Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!

Africa Inn - Chalet 1

Chalet 1 is nice and spacious with two bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom with an outside shower. Beds can be made in King or single bed. The Chalet has a fully equiped kitchen with a dining table and lounge area. The stoep is where the magic takes place with a braai and splash pool for your enjoyment.

This lovingly restored cottage, built in 1878, is on the Coetzee family’s 4th generation working ostrich farm in the small Karoo valley of Kandelaarsrivier. Huis Kandelabra is just outside Oudtshoorn on the main route to Mossel Bay.
