We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Broken Spoke Ranch! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable (and warm) stay. The location was perfect, with a gorgeous view of the pond and countryside. We enjoyed exploring the property and saying hello to the donkeys and ponies nearby. Overall, our experience was amazing! Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back!

Quaint Montezuma Cabin Near Lake Ponderosa!

Very clean, nice place. There are many gravel roads in Iowa, which we didn't realize and had to go extra slow. Also, waze gave us the directions that included more gravel roads. We did find a better route. We did INDYCAR races in Newton and it's about a 35 min drive each way, but not many other options. Fine place, just middle of the country.

The place is a beautiful little house!! We felt right at home!! Perfect location if you don't like city life!! Quiet town with wonderful people!! They were very accommodating with our needs!! Very responsive and easy to access!! Would definitely stay again and would always recommend it to other people to stay as well!!

Lakefront Retreat at Ponderosa

We had a great stay at the cottage, felt right at home. Had games for the kids and use of everything we needed for our stay. Even went bowling 5 mins away. Beautiful lake with lots of birds to watch. The cottage is not musty or damp at all, which is very important to us. Host was friendly and responsive.

Great place to stay for our mid winter family get together. Place was clean and had ample space for our families to spread out. Location was great, private but still close to town if we needed something. Would highly recommend, we will be back.

This was our second stay in this loft in charming Grinnell. Since we had been there before we knew where to park and what door to enter and that we had to climb some stairs. The loft was just as we expected. It had everything we needed (cork screw, baking sheet, frying pan, toaster, dishwasher, dining room table, etc) it was quiet at night. The location is super convenient. We will be back again someday!

Lake House Retreat

The house was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our trip! It was clean and there were lots of extras to enjoy. The best part was definitely the patio and view! Thank you!

Everything about this apartment—from the location to the amenities—was perfect. I came to Grinnell to visit my daughter, who studies there, and the fully equipped kitchen allowed me to cook some local dishes for her and her friends. The apartment is just a short walk from campus and close to grocery stores, which made things super convenient. Delphina is truly a Superhost—responsive, kind, and welcoming. I accidentally locked myself out and left something inside, and she immediately came to my rescue. The brewery just downstairs was another highlight—we enjoyed local craft beer and brought in some takeout pizza. Thanks to Delphina’s warm hospitality, I had a truly wonderful three-day stay. I’d love to come back again.

Walnut Creek Lodge is spectacular and Brett is a wonderful host. This is our group's second year at the Lodge and we will be back next fall! My group loves Walnut Creek, this property is a true American gem in the middle of Iowa!
