Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

800 sq ft cabin with private 10 x 30 front porch overlooking 5 acre lake. The living and kitchenette area have beautiful views of the lake. The kitchen contains a small refrigerator and microwave. The kitchen does not contain a stove. The cabin is a one bedroom with queen size bed, separate dressing room with desk/vanity area and an oversized bathroom with walk-in shower. Private parking. Minutes away from fishing hunting and shopping! Located next to a family farm. You can arrange a time to visit and meet their cute cuddly critters! Be our guest! Looking forward to a ideal country cabin or relax in the beautifully lit claw foot tub or roast some delicious marshmallows next to the large rock fireplace located in the living room. It is amazing but the sleeping quarters are located up a flight of stairs if you have any disabilities that prevent stairs the cabin is not ideal.

Rustic cabin in the woods adjoining Mark Twain National Forrest, about 300 square feet. Cabin includes: table, chairs, cots (air beds available on request and bedding not provided), kitchenette (mini-fridge, oven, stove, dishes, coffee maker), sleeping loft, front and back porch, gravity-fed shower and sink from two 55-gallon water barrels, outhouse for restroom, picnic table with fire-pit and grill for fire pit.
