We got the place for one month. The apartment had all the basics covered. Comfortable bed, modern functional bathroom and kitchen. Everything was clean and functional. Curtains blocked off the light( for those sensitive to it) and windows blocked most of the noise ( but the street is quiet even though it is close to the park and restaurants). Having washer and dryer in the building is very convenient. The apartment is on the fourth floor so not for people with limited mobility but allows for the beautiful view of the river and sunlight. We had everything we needed inside the apartment. Location is convenient. 15 min to the São bento station, little Spar grocery store up the street is very convenient to get eggs, bread and pizza. Uber eats works great in Portugal and so is Uber. Mafalda (manager) was responsive to our requests and always answered within couple hours. We got change of sheets and towels every week. I recommend this apartment.

Ottimo alloggio pulito e fornito di tutto quanto è necessario. Particolarmente utile la possibilità di parcheggiare la vettura in un garage chiuso a pochi metri di distanza senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. In pochi minuti a piedi si arriva nel centro di Porto. Assolutamente consigliato.

The apartment was just what we needed, and they allowed us to get in early which was so helpful. We really appreciated that they were able to accommodate us!

This place was exceptional, beautifully decorated, with a charming Portuguese atmosphere and those gorgeous long-standing windows. The kitchen is very well-equipped, possibly even above standard. The only downside, if I had to mention one, was the squeaky floors. It seems to be the case in all the apartments, as I could hear not only my own steps but also the neighbors’. Otherwise, highly recommended, a truly beautiful place to stay!

Estupendos anfitriones, atentos a ayudarnos en todo momento. Apartamento céntrico, muy espacioso, bien equipado y luminoso. Como punto de mejora: jabón de manos en el baño y colgador para la toalla de la ducha.

Hospedaje en un entorno inmejorable, con vistas al rio y en un barrio de toda la vida, tranquilo. Tiene una terraza maravillosa!!! Tienes cerca muchos lugares de interés y transportes. Estás en el centro pero in parecerlo. Eso sí, o vas por la Alfándega o tienes unas cuestas bonitas para ir a la zona de Clérigos. El anfitrión es inmejorable. Todo atención, flexibilidad y consejos. Nos equivocamos con la reserva y lo arregló sin problemas.

We loved our stay! It has a great work from home set up, speedy internet and high quality screens. The house had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It has a lovely private courtyard with amazing views to the River Douro. We go to Porto every year and this is the best place by far. We will be back!

Meine Frau unsere Tochter und Ich hatten eine super Zeit in diesem Apartment. Wir hatten genug Platz, eine super Küche und alles was wir brauchten um uns in Porto wohl zu fühlen. Bis in die Stadt dauerte es zu Fuß lediglich 15 Minuten. Auch für entspannte Tage war die Unterkunft absolut geeignet. Die Kommunikation und Abwicklung mit Vasco verlief wunderbar. Er begrüßte und verabschiedete uns mehr als höflich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten jederzeit das Gefühl gut umsorgt und willkommen zu sein. Absolute Empfehlung 👍🏼 Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit wir kommen gerne wieder.

The flat was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. There was a blow dryer, iron, and coffee maker, which were wonderful additions. The space is very light and airy. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was lively, but quiet, we had no problem sleeping at night even during the weekends when people were out. It is very close to wonderful restaurants and things to do. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Porto.

Es war alles so, wie beschrieben. Ich bin spät nachts angekommen, aber es war einfach einzuchecken. Das war eine grosse Erleichterung. Die Kommunikation war fliessend, das kleine Apartment wie "neu" und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Der Mini - Garten mit Apfelsinenbaum und Sitzgelegenheit brachte Ruhe in den Tag. Vielen Dank, Claudia

Fiquei muito em dúvida na hora de reservar, pois tinha 2 crianças e muitas avaliações comentando sobre a rua barulhenta. De fato a rua é toda de baladas e fomos bem no carnaval, então era muito movimento, mas o apartamento tem janelas duplas que isola completamente o barulho. Foi muito tranquilo, o apartamento é lindo, muito confortável e espaçoso. Cozinha bem equipada, banheiros bons, tem lavanderia no prédio. E a localização é excelente.

Pedro - was very helpful with check in, questions before we came and giving us suggestions on where to go to see the highlights and where to eat. Can’t say enough good things about the place, locations and Porto. It was a great time and hope to come back one day.

We had a fantastic stay in Porto! The apartment was perfect for our group of five friends—spacious and clean. The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Our host Susana was welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better. We felt right at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Porto!

Un logement bien situé permettant de rejoindre le centre historique en 20mns à pied. Bien équipé et confortable, idéal pour 2 couples. A noter que dans la chambre avec les lits jumeaux, la fenêtre n'est pas assez sécure pour des enfants. Le logement est au 5ème étage. Accueil très agréable par Sara et Hugo.

Absolutely beautiful space! The building is secure and very quiet at night. Isa was an attentive and responsive host that did her very best to meet our needs! We would love to stay again the next time we return to Porto!

Pasamos muy buenos días, todo igual a lo que anunciaba. Vistas espectaculares al río y la casa preciosa. Por ponerle un contra personal faltaba un trapo de cocina o papel de cocina. Pero por decir algún contra la verdad que lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda si quieres pasar unos días tranquilo y mejor que en casa con las mejores vistas,

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans l'appartement de Marcos. Avec une très belle vue sur la mer, le logement est très bien équipé, propre et confortable. Nous avons aussi apprécié le parking en sous sol pour nos motos. Je recommande vraiment cet appartement.

Gostei muito do vosso espaço. Tem tudo para passar um fim de semana relaxante, em contacto com a natureza e com um espaço comum fabuloso

Espaço agradável, com uma vista bonita, e com tudo o que é preciso! Só não estava à espera das ruas apertadas e falta de estacionamento. (Não é culpa do proprietário, é a zona mesmo)

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Er werd altijd direct gereageerd op vragen die we hadden en de suite... prachtig. Heerlijke jacuzzi en klein patio enorm bed. We hebben genoten !!

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!
