Un rêve de maison cycladique surplombant la mer

Bienvenue en Grèce, dans ma maison ! C’est une maison familiale, typiquement cycladique. Elle a appartenu à mes grand-parents et j’ai essayé d’en garder l’esprit, tout en l’adaptant aux exigences de la vie d’aujourd’hui . Une maison de village, accessible par un charmant escalier, elle est totalement protégée des bruits de la route. Exposée plein sud, (très important, car à l’abri du meltemi, vent du nord qui souffle en rafale tout l’été) , elle surplombe Klima, un pittoresque village de pêcheurs ( à 20mn à pied et 3mn en voiture) et toute la baie intérieure. Environnement très calme de grecs qui vivent là toute l’année et qu’il faut respecter. Des terrasses où prendre son petit déjeuner, et profiter des couchers du soleil incendiaires. A l’intérieur une première grande pièce commune, cuisine, salon avec un petit canapé, une salle de douche et WC, une belle chambre avec son « doulapi » (placard ) inclus dans le mur. Les plafonds sont restés traditionnels, poutres et kalami récemment blanchis à la chaux et dont la vertu est de protéger du bruit et de la chaleur, mais ni des moustiques, araignées et insectes qui peuvent nous rendre visite en dépit des soins constants apportés à la propreté de la maison ! Malgré tout, même si nous sommes tout près de la mer, nous sommes aussi dans la campagne grecque, celle des oliviers, des cyprès, et d’une flore typiquement cycladique; du chant des cigales et des grillons, la nuit tombée. Avec au loin, les clochettes des moutons et le braiment d’un âne. Ce qui rendra votre séjour dépaysant et je l'espère unique !

Drougas' Sea House

A traditional Fisherman house. One bedroom with double bed.Fully equipted bathroom. In the living room (bed/sofa for a 3rd visitor) you can find and a fully organized kitchen and a dining table.Balcony with amazing view to the Aegean Sea! One traditional “SIRMA” in which fishermen storage their boats for the winter. It's located into the fishermen village called Klima. Fully renovated (2019), with many traditional tips from its past. Perfect place for teleworking ... gazing at the Aegean Sea!!

Traditional Waterfront House

Our traditional cycladic house is a hundred years old and used to be a summer retreat for our family..It is located on the seafront in the picturesque fishing village of Mandrakia on the North coast of the island.Our home is sitting right on the water's edge. and therefor has a panoramic seaview .From our veranda you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and have direct access to the water.You walk out the front door,go down a staircase into the sea for snorkeling or swimming.

Princess Plaka

The apartment is part of Princess Guesthouse,located in charming village of Plaka. It's a traditional,stone built,stylish small complex,ideal for couples.Guests can enjoy a relaxing nest with all comforts just a few steps to taverns,cafes,shops and museums while striking north beaches such as Platiena,Firopotamos,Sarakiniko etc. are just a 10-15min. drive far.Historical sights of Catacombs and the ancient theater are nearby,making it the perfect base to explore the beuties of the island.

The Painter’s House

Our comfortable village house, dates from the late 1800’s and was the former home of a local painter, Terpsichore, you can see some of her works hanging in the house. The property has been recently renovated into a comfortable space giving guests a true feeling of village life being located within the labyrinth of narrow cobblestone streets in the most picturesque village on Milos-Plaka,Known for incredible sunsets,breathtaking views,wonderful eating houses and beautiful churches.

Sunset Nest!

Set in Plaka Milou, 2.4 km from Gerania Beach and 2.4 km from Catacombs of Milos, Sunset Nest, offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The house is suitable for couples and families with children. It has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with sea view balcony, living room, bathroom and 2 large verandas with unobstructed view!

Sunset Studio

Sunset Studio is located at Plaka, probably the most picturesque place on Milos, which used to be the old capital of the island. It has one bedroom with a double and a single bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Right outside, in front of your door, you can enjoy a magnificent sunset and in just two minutes you can find yourself in the middle of Plaka with its traditional alleys, the beautiful restaurants, cafes and shops.

"Ianthini" Milos sea view houses in Trypiti

The traditional house "Ianthini" is located in the village of Tripiti on Milos. It is ideal for a quiet vacation. It is on the upper floor of a two-storey house, has been renovated in 2020 with sensitivity to the traditional Cycladic architecture. There is a large terrace overlooking the entrance to the bay of Milos. The house is delivered clean. We will be happy to accommodate you.

"Armira" Boat House in Firopotamos

Armira Boat House is located literally a few steps away from the sea in the small, remote, traditional seaside community of Fyropotamos. Originally built by my ancestors in the early 1900s to serve as a fisherman’s cottage and boat house traditionally known as “sirma”, it is a unique example of Cycladic traditional architecture and is one of the very few of its kind.
