Our house is closely linked to the socio-political development of Kumaun. As it was built in 1942 when the the Quit India Movement was at its peak; hence it was named Kranti Kutir. Located on the eastern ridge of Almora town we offer a soothing view of early morning sunrise from the panaromic mountain horizons. The house is positioned close to the tourist sites of Almora town namely Chitai Golu Temple, Jageshwar group of temples, Kasar devi ridge and the Binsar wild life sanctuary.

Here you can find beautifully appointed, wood-insulated rooms to relax in before leaving for your trek into the mountains.
