The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Settle in at this unique space - a private space to fully unwind and let creativity unfold among a welcoming community. It is a private loft guesthouse at a shared creative farm. The loft offers one queen size bed, an open kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, all cooking utilities. There is a comfortable seating area, a large desk, cupboards, books, and yoga mats. The double bed is comfortable and cozy. It is very spacious and bright with large windows and blockout curtains for privacy.

The cabin for 2 is build from natural stone and balanced on an 80 m high cliff overlooking a valley covered in trees and a mountain in the distance. The cabin has luxuries such as air conditioner, fireplace both in and outside, rock pool and jacuzzi on the edge of the cliff, open air shower and a bath overlooking the valley. Aloe Rock Cabin is well equipped with 220 v electricity, geyser, stove, microwave, gas barbeque, fridge, freezer and all the things needed for day to day catering.
