A nice place, beautiful location.

Barra Shores is a warm and welcoming getaway for all - it feels like you’re at home during your stay with a beautiful view and privacy. The hot tub, gazebo and outdoor fire pit provides the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for while feeling completely at home. Tiffany is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with - encouraging guests to enjoy everything her place has to offer during their stay. The cottage is amazing, the views are beautiful and the hostess is excellent - this was our second stay and we look forward to the next time - thank you Tiffany!

Cindy's place was exactly what we needed. We were 4 adults travellings for a ceremony, and it was just the right amount of space. Cindy was very clear and accurate in her descriptions, and instructions. We arrived well after dark, but it was easy to find. The space was VERY clean, and beautifully accessorized. There was a variety of coffees, and oatmeal, and to our surprise lots of critters such as dogs, cats, chickens and a bunny on the property. It is a perfect getaway for a disconnect from the city life. Highly recommend, and will definitely book again when in the area. Thanks Cindy and family for hosting us.

Absolutely stunning! Right on the water, great views, watched deer in the yard... The screened in porched was awesome, the back porch with Propane fire pit is a great touch. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Can't wait to book again

Very comfortable place in a quaint little fishing village in Chance harbor. Beautifully kept, adequately stocked kitchen, amble space and walking distance to a beautiful beach on the Northumberland strait. The backyard was private with a firepit and chairs to relax in the evening.

This is our 4th summer staying with Brenda; her space is clean, fully outfitted with everything you need in the kitchen, and the sunset is excellent. Thanks Brenda!

Beautiful location, very quiet and had everything we needed for a great weekend! We will be back!

We had a brief stay at the cottage which was everything we thought it would be.We had an amazing time and would diffinitly do it again.The only downfall is we only booked a one night stay ,next time we will book for the whole weekend and enjoy more of the sights.

When we booked this absolutely beautiful modern beach house from Australia we were seeking a unique, quintessential Nova Scotian holiday home to use as a base for 4 nights …. and we found all this and more at this delightful, special property. It has direct access to the beach (no road between the beach and the house) and we loved walking on the beach and enjoyed sitting on the large front deck spotting seals, fishing boats and the occasional cruise ship heading to PEI. It was totally peaceful. We visited the cute villages of Pictou and Tatamagouche and Ian did a private guided shore fishing excursion. If you are an overseas visitor, visiting out of season, I’d recommend picking up some tourist information at a bigger centre as the local tourist offices had closed for the season and the online information isn’t huge. We loved our stay at this great AirB&B property.
