Authentic Highland Bothy by Schiehallion

The Bothy is an authentic, traditional Highland dwelling, carefully restored to preserve its original features and character while providing essential facilities, warmth and comfort. A farmyard location in the midst of our highland home and in the heart of wild, romantic Perthshire, at the foot of the famous Schiehallion. Two miles from the village of Kinloch Rannoch at the head of the loch, the Bothy is an ideal base for outdoor adventures, observing wildlife or a relaxing escape from the city.

Each log cabin has its own private hot tub & balcony with barbecue area over looking the hills. Each lodge has 2 bedrooms,shower room & toilet, fully equipped fitted kitchen & lounge,tv,dvd etc. Park up in your private parking space there is plenty room for 2 -3 cars. A charming little renovated Bothy on our working farm, situated in our courtyard right next to/directly opposite our own house. Lovely interior with well equipped kitchen and dining area downstairs and woodburning stove. Bathroom also downstairs with shower cubicle. Upstairs is a cozy loft style bedroom with quite low ceilings so for the taller guests...please mind your heads when climbing into bed! Garden area with bistro garden furniture, hot tub and BBQ (please bring your own coal).

The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.
