The place is run by experienced two guys who are happy to do an extra step to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I booked for two nights and stayed for many more. Just love Gili and Alfia bungalows. Bikes are also available to rent which is really handy.

Excellent adress in Gili T ! Very close to all the entertainment and yet still very quiet. The room are very charming, well équipes and spacious. Breakfast was very good and coffee generously at will all day long. Staff is very helpfull, available without being intrusive and gave us good tips on snorkeling spots and trips. A great thanks and a string recomendation for Mama J's corner!

Hôte très accueillant et sympathique, qui fait des très bons petits dej ! Le logement était propre dans l’ensemble, de feuilles d’arbres tombent parfois dans la salle de bain mais l’hôte est venu nettoyer. L’emplacement permet d’être un calme sur cette île festive, mais reste proche des restau et bars. C’est accessible à pieds mais il vaut mieux prendre un vélo. Très belle piscine également, je recommande !! (Petits chats très mignons)

We only stayed here for 1 night! Gili Air is very small so the whole island is walkable! Tonnes of great restaurants and beautiful bars nearby! The rooms itself was quite dated and very dark and the bathroom felt a little unclean! But it looked like the pictures so we were prepared for that! The staff were very kind and made a delicious banana pancake breakfast for us which we loved!

Gusung Indah was great! Right at turtle point, the snorkeling was awesome. Easy to walk or bike to the harbor for some diving. Great AC, clean, easy, friendly. Nice pool to relax in when it’s too hot. We’d go do our thing for the day, jump in the pool to cool off, and retreat to the comfy AC bungalow.

I had an incredible stay at The Marc Hotel in the Gili Islands! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were modern, spotless, and well-designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and island charm. The hotel’s location was also ideal—just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and everything Gili has to offer. One of the highlights was the beautiful pool area, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day right. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in the Gili Islands, The Marc Hotel is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be back!

Good location next to restaurants and easy to acces from the port. Mosque its right next to it so its bit loud but didn't bother me. Its away from the loud party sounds so good to sleep. Overall good budget room and you get what you pay for cant expect too much.

Denise is an exceptional host! I’ve booked my room only when I was already on the island and she answered almost instantaneously. Located at about 10 min walk from where the boat arrives on the island and sent me good instructions to easily find her place. It’s a very safe and well located place. I was welcomed like a princess by the most heartwarming staff. Everyone made sure I was comfortable. Denise also took the time to explain what and where to see all the things there’s to do on Gili T. Thanks to her, I was able to do everything I wanted to do in less than 24 hours, but I could’ve stayed longer to do more! I’ve snorkelled, I’ve rented a bike, I’ve seen a giant turtle, and I’ve partied just enough. Denise and her staff really contributed to make the most out of my very short trip to Gili T. I’ll be forever thankful I was staying there during my trip. Hopefully I’ll go back soon, and this place will be my number one choice. Highly recommend! Cheers!

Great value, the room was spotlessly clean, location was great right near the harbor so very little walking with luggage, attached private bathroom, complimentary breakfast. There was a bit of noise at night from people in the nearby bars but it wasn’t too bad. Also the room doesn’t have any windows, not an issue if you’re just using it to stay the night after diving/partying. Overall a great find. Really cute & friendly cat at reception too!

A simple, yet beautiful room with a nice shower and bathroom. Also a perfect pool in the middle of the area, which to my surprise, almost no other guests used during our stay. There are many great restaurants within a few minutes in pretty much every direction. Two of the best cafés of Gili T (Mommos and Kayus) are just around the corner too. The guys that ran this place were very helpful and accomodating aswell. Overall a great value for the price of the stay

My stay at the Broken Compass was great! Spacious room with cleaned AC, the breakfast is delicious and the space around the pools are comfortable. The staff is very friendly, I will always a remember the efforts to help me find solutions when I broke my phone. Thank you, Broken Compass team for your help and friendship!

This was a very nice place with a great breakfast. It was within walking distance to the beach and many good restaurants. The bed was the best that we have had in Bali. Staff were friendly, responsive, and helpful. Beautiful view outside the room. The shower was nice and warm, with a new bathroom. I enjoyed waking up to the sound of roosters in the village. Only one slight downside was that the Wifi is a bit slow: Not a problem for us (we don't go to a beautiful rural town like Amed to look at a computer screen/ phone screen), but if you were looking to complete some remote work or meetings, we found it couldn't do it. Highly recommend this stay and looking forward to coming back to beautiful amed.

100% recommend. We initially booked for 1 week, and then ended up extending. There are 4 rooms in a beautiful purpose-built villa with a shared kitchen and living spaces + the pool. The best thing for us was the full western style kitchen (shared). We've been budget travelling in Asia for the past several months, so having an oven, and things like a good blender to make smoothies were big bonuses. Everything is clean and well maintained. AC & wifi work well. Also nice that the bedrooms have AC + a ceiling fan. The owner lives in her own separate apartment on the third floor of the villa. She's very responsive and helpful, but you also have your own privacy. She even organised a diving trip in Tulamben and gave me a free lift out there. Location in Bunutan village within wider Amed was also great. Everything you need is in Bunutan - good restaurants, dive shops, Adi Shop supermarket - but it's quieter than the main tourist strip 4km up the road in Amed village.

Séjour incroyable dans la jungle de Tetebatu. À notre arrivée tardive, nous avons été accueillis avec une grande gentillesse : l’équipe sur place a proposé de commander à manger pour nous dans des restos des environs, ce qui nous a beaucoup aidés. Le logement était splendide, très confortable, avec une superbe vue sur les rizières au réveil. Le lendemain, Haki, qui travaille sur place, nous a guidés pendant trois heures dans la jungle : Monkey Forest, cascade connue, rizières magnifiques… Il nous a aussi permis de discuter avec des locaux qui nous ont fait goûter leurs spécialités. Une expérience authentique, pleine d’échanges. Haki a été d’une gentillesse remarquable et a vraiment rendu notre séjour à Tetebatu très agréable. Merci à lui ! Et mention spéciale à leur petit chien Kobe, adorable, qui nous a suivis tout au long de la balade !

Der Aufenthalt war einfach spitze, egal welche Fragen ich hatte. Alle wurden beantwortet, und mir wurde sofort geholfen, ein Ansprechpartner war stets zugegen. Der Gastgeber war sehr höflich, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich fühlte mich von Anfang an sehr gut aufgehoben wie zu Hause. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Pool, freies WLAN und TV auf dem Zimmer mit der Möglichkeit, Prime, Netflix, YouTube und ähnliches zu schauen. Das Essen im direkt anliegenden Restaurant „Makan Makan“ ist super mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sogar eine happy Cocktail Zeit gibt es mit 25 % pro Cocktail, alles sehr gepflegt. und man spricht Englisch! rund um ein super Angebot werde ganz sicher nächstes Jahr wieder vorbeischauen

The villa is a lovely place with a magic view over the ocean. The staff is so friendly and make you feel at home. Rio took me on a nice tour around and he is very company to show you around. The swimmingpool is great. As it is said it is further away from restaurants and the beach. So You need a taxi or your own transport. I ordered food in the villa by the gojak app and that worked well. So if you want a peacefull place, go To Villa Vana. You will love it

Chambre propre et très agréable pour passer quelques jours à Gili Air. Très proche de la plage avec spot pour voir des tortues. Nous en avons vu 2 après 10min de snorkeling seulement en partant de la plage devant l’hôtel ! L’île est toute petite mais le logement se trouve au nord de l’île et l’arrivée au port est au sud. Je vous conseille de louer un scooter électrique (il y en a partout et ce n’est pas cher du tout) pour faciliter les déplacements et profiter de l’entièreté de l’île.

Sweet and simple. Great location 50 steps to the beachfront. Great budget friendly option for beach bums like me - I sacrificed luxury for location and it was totally worth it. The staff at Matahari Bubgalows 3 were exceptional - professional and fun - super important as a solo-female traveller. Bikes, snorkel mask/fins and tours available directly. I will miss the Matahari Family!
