This quiet 2nd floor private room with private bath is good for up to 2 people. Access to shared living spaces (including a home office), kitchen and half bath on lower level.

Your private entrance can be found by taking the gravel pathway through the gate to the back of the home. Your code will not work on the front door. Our little 1 bedroom, 650 sq ft cottage is 15 minutes from the Charlotte Int'l Airport, 20-25 minutes to downtown Charlotte, a few minutes to downtown Belmont, Belmont Abbey, and Mt Holly. With painted oak walls, pine ceilings, a gas log fireplace in the living room, and hand-built cabinetry in the small kitchen, the home has a cozy cabin feel. We provide a self-inflating queen air mattress with bedding if you have 3 or 4 people coming. There's a doggie door to a fully fenced back yard.

I’m a 2 mile drive (~6 min.) down Central Ave. to the center of Plaza Midwood, a 4 mile drive (~12 min.) using Independence Blvd. to the center of Uptown (with similarly convenient access to South End), & a 3 mile drive (~10 min) to NoDa. Clean home, with two very sweet and affectionate dogs (see pics), Calliope (8 y/o) & Ferdinand (6 y/o).
