Evelyn is built from the ground up with 90% recycled, reused, scrounged and found materials, set in a secluded part of our property, next to majestic gum trees nestled amongst nature. A bird watchers paradise with 80 species spotted around the gardens, so bring your binoculars.

This purpose-built Greek-inspired villa with sunset views as far as Kangaroo Island provides the perfect get-away retreat. One hour south of Adelaide, enroute to Kangaroo Island and close to McLaren Vale and lots of fantastic wineries. Situated in a secluded rural setting on a 80 acre horse stud. Dee's Villa is a short 10 minutes drive to Normanville or Yankalilla. We are close to Myponga Beach, Lady Bay and Carrickalinga as well as the popular Normanville beach. Dogs and Ponies welcome.

Also, there is a short drive of approximately 4 kms to Normanville and Carrickallinga Beach, or maybe you prefer to ride or float your own horse down to the beach instead, the choice is yours!

Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

The Passage Kangaroo Island

Only 10 minutes from the ferry, the cabin is situated on a sheep farm and nestled into the rolling hills with panoramic ocean views.
