We just checked out of The Wendy House today after a wonderful stay. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 3 and 5) and cannot recommend this little gem highly enough. Holly was an amazing host- so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house was spotless, fully equipped and a 2 min walk from the beachfront- we really couldn’t ask for better. Can’t wait to plan our next trip to this beautiful place ❤️

We spent a week at the house with several generations and it was absolutely perfect. There are basically two separate living rooms which was brilliant. Great that we had our own bathrooms and the house is in a fantastic location. Loads of space, kitchen worked well and would recommend the house for a group that has different needs to cater to. The hosts were very responsive and left good instructions.

A fantastic stay and the property was exactly as described. Spotlessly clean and really well equipped. The location is great. A few minutes walk from Newquay Town Centre and less than 10 mins walk to Fistral Beach through the middle of the golf course on a traffic free path. The host responded within an hour on both occasions I contacted her. I can’t fault anything. Thanks for a fantastic stay. Highly recommended.

This house is in simply the best location for the town and beach. The house is home for home and the kitchen has every utensil you need and the bathroom is great. The courtyard is a lovely intro in the afternoon too. My only slight reservation: we are a family of 5 and I think the house is more suited to a family of four. The living areas and kitchen/diner feel smaller than the photos look.

We loved our stay! Beautiful and homely, with lovely outdoor spaces. Rooms were all comfortable, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Simon and Saraya were friendly, gave helpful instructions and were really responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Communication from Sharon was excellent throughout Stunning location , we loved the beautiful gardens , the pretty little stream . We all slept so well . Thankyou for allowing us to stay , we loved it and will definately be back ....

We very much enjoyed our stay, beautiful location, private off road parking easy to walk in to town and beach. The accomodation was well furnished clean and comfortable. We will definately return👍

The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and we loved the sunny garden. Two bedside lights would have been helpful but otherwise the place was perfect

I stayed at Lou’s place with a few friends and it was lovely - really great location, just a short walk to fistral beach, surf hire shop and a lovely cafe. Also an easy walk into New Quay town. You can see the sea from the flat - it’s a great spot! The place was clean, spacious and the beds were super comfy. Lou was super responsive before and during our stay, and gave really detailed check in details and information.

This is a truly beautiful place to stay exactly as pictured, spacious, and very clean. It’s no surprise that so many people choose to stay here. Gill is a wonderfully kind and attentive host. She is easy to contact, responds quickly, and is always helpful. Gill also provides detailed information about local attractions and includes useful contact numbers, such as for taxis, which made everything so much more convenient. And the best part? The beach is just a one-minute walk from the property!

This was my first time in Plymouth since moving from England to the U.S., visiting family who just relocated here. The apartment was better in person—I’m usually skeptical after being misled by online photos before, but this one exceeded expectations. Clean, secure, and close to key landmarks. As someone who worked in hospitality, I value good service over fancy facilities, and the host delivered. He communicated clearly, checked in during my stay, and was quick to respond. I mixed up the checkout time with another booking and was still there when housekeeping arrived. I felt bad, but they were very professional and didn’t make it awkward at all, even though it likely affected their schedule. Great service, great stay. I’d definitely book again.

house was beautiful, perfect location and view was lovely. Easy walking distance to royal william yard and the ferries. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting Ryan and Tanya at Fig Tree @ 36 if you want some amazing fresh local food! 10/10 for the food and service - we went a few times! Easy walking distance too. Will definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Kathryn’s. The Airbnb was as described and excellent value. It was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. Kathryn also very kindly stayed up to greet us for check in despite our late arrival and offered to let us park in her driveway past check out time which was nice. We would recommend!

Maritas place was perfect for our short stay in Porthtowen! It’s a beautiful little place with an amazing view of the sea! We let felt at home straight away! The stairs up to the bedroom are very steep so wouldn’t be ideal for less able bodied people but was fine for us and the place had everything we needed! A well stocked kitchen was really nice to have! We spent many evenings out on the balcony eating or playing games in view of the sea as the sun set, which was really special!

This was a perfect spot for our weekend stay in Polzeath. Clean, comfortable and close to the beach. Thanks Katie, Ben & Sam!

What an amazing place, accomodation was perfect, Sue is a great host . Very helpful with parking of our 2 vans . We had the perfect week of weather to site and chill . Can not recommend enough .

In Falmouth for work, and this was the perfect location. The apartment was clean and tidy and you also have your own parking space!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julia’s apartment. A beautiful apartment in a wonderful location overlooking the golf course and beach. The apartment was immaculately clean and tidy, and really nicely laid out, exactly as described. Nice touches like fluffy towels and welcome biscuits - thank you! 🙏 Fistral Beach is stunning and Newquay is full of good restaurants. Free parking overnight in close proximity to the apartment. Julia is a very responsive and communicative host and nothing was a bother. Highly recommended all round.

We had a lovely time in Newquay once again. Kristen is a very responsive host. Large bedrooms and living room made for a very relaxing time. location is near to so many beaches.

Anna's apartment is a great base if you are visiting Newquay. We stayed for a month and felt right at home. It's in a great location to reach all the main parts of Newquay and the outside area with a separate entrance is great if you are surfing and bringing back boards and wetsuits. We had some issues with the internet speeds but Anna was always responsive and helped get things back online. Highly recommend!
