Rachel’s cottage is even cuter than the photos clean and comfortable and very close to the beach and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone especially someone who enjoys a bit of character

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Communication with our host was prompt, friendly, considerate and seamless. The property is a lovely modern gem located in a quiet street whilst still being very handy to the beach, shops and restaurants. The amenities were absolutely top-notch and every corner had aesthetic appeal. We were as impressed by the outside areas as we were the gorgeous, spacious interior. The indoor plants added freshness to the space and it was extremely easy to relax in such a naturally well lit, open plan environment. The gorgeous furniture is designed for relaxation (as were the super comfortable beds) and we were impressed by the calibre of linen etc. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay and the pet-friendly policy was a blessing. making it a delightful experience for our dog as well. The kitchen was stocked with essentials plus so much more and our host's thoughtful touches made our stay exceptional. 10/10 we’ll be back.

It was a good fit for our whole family, including our small dog. The location was a highlight, with the beach just a short walk away. The living area was cosy and worked really well for relaxing and watching movies on the rainy days.

This was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the attention to detail was fantastic. The outdoor shower was a great bonus, and the waffle station was such a fun and unique touch – my friend had a blast making waffles for breakfast! The outdoor area is lovely and well set up, with a BBQ that we didn’t get the chance to use on this short trip, but we’re already planning to come back. The high fences made it feel really secure, especially great for those travelling with dogs. Gerard was fantastic – super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. In terms of cleanliness, location, and amenities, this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to return!

Claire was a great host with quick, easy and clear communication. The location is great - close to local cafes, supermarkets and local beaches. We even got to take our dog who loved to roam in the fully fenced front garden. Would definitely recommend!

A fabulous little sanctuary so close to the beach. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite what we hoped, but that didn’t really matter as the place was so comfortable with great sofas a large Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. The fully fenced garden made it a dream for our little fur baby, who loved zooming around the grass. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pans and crockery and the plumbed fridge freezer with ice maker was great for G&T time! Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Great place to stay for our extended family of 5 in this peaceful and lovely house. Location was excellent, short walk to beach and quiet being on a back section. Short distance to all shopping and amenities. Would love to come back one day.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the pool—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Rebecca has a beautiful place to host our group. We really enjoyed the pool, spa and the outdoor area for the kids. The house has lots of space to offer, it felt like home. We loved stay there, especially when the weather isn’t great, we still have plenty to do around the house. Thank you for hosting us.

My wife and I booked Gabby's and Chris's home (who move out during these rentals), to host a family reunion. We were 3 families, so 6 adults, 1 teenager, and 4 small children. Set in beautiful Kiwi countryside it was super safe for the children. A long drive to a large parking area, was ideal for grandchildren to ride bikes and wheeled toys. Beautiful extensive gardens to roam. The house is spacious, with correct bedrooms, 2 tv areas, & 3 tables big enough for all of us to sit down together (inside, outside deking, & pool area). Chris advised to move the outside tables around for sun or shade as required. The pool was large and clean, fantastic, and essential in the sub tropical climate of the Bay of Plenty. Communication and cooperation with Gabby and Chris was excellent, both before and during our 3 week stay. I believe Whakamarama may be for sale later this year, so holiday now, or an ideal opportunity to acquire this beautiful property either as a home or rental opportunity.

Wonderful spot with an amazing view. Lots for the kids to do, Flint was a hit, as was the fire pit, pool, spa and creek. Checked our eel trap as we left and caught (and released) an eel, memorable end to a lovely family mini break. Thank you Yana.

We loved our time at Catherine's place. It was a lovely home, lots of books, beautiful surroundings inside and out. Lovely touches with biscuit and wine. Shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms. Loads of towels for the pool and shower. Super luxurious and loved it. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Nicola went above and beyond for me and my friends for my 40th birthday. The house has so much character and so much to do. The tennis court and swimming pool were an added bonus on top of everything else. The house had everything we needed. Great place for everyone to enjoy.

Danielle’s home was immaculate, peaceful and way bigger than the photos make the house look! There was plenty of space to lounge around and the swimming pool and well kept grounds were an added bonus.

Amazing place to stay. Super cosy, spotlessly clean, & super comfortable bed. Thanks for being pet friendly, we loved our weekend away with our 2 year of Labrador. 2 minute walk to beautiful beach for her to run & swim. Overall good experience! Great location yet private. Did not meet Kazza, but was friendly over text. Clean accomodation except for a couple spots on the linen and had everything we needed (loved the shower).

This is such a gorgeous home right next to beautiful Papamoa beach. Lovely kitchen and open deck area with a pretty garden, and easy living. We had such a great time -walking and swimming at the beach, enjoying local cafes, and a short drive to excellent restaurants (great tips from Lisa too, thank you!). Looking forward to finding a way to return!

It was our first time doing something like this with our young family of 5 and we had an amazing time. The setup was perfect for a family getaway. It was comfortable, clean, and surrounded by nature. Stephanie was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kids had a blast, and so did we. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our mini-moon! From the moment we arrived, we were in love—gorgeous flower gardens, dreamy hydrangeas, and the most charming vintage decor that was so our vibe. Every little detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Our small dog, Hazel, was just as happy as we were, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring the garden. It felt like a cosy, romantic escape while still having all the comforts of home. We truly didn’t want to leave! Love, love, love—would stay again in a heartbeat! 💕✨🐾

Tierre’s little place was the best location to explore the gems of the Mount. Tay street cafe super close for your morning coffee and food. An easy stroll into town via the beach or back streets to make the most of the awesome restaurants. Plenty of space for the two of us and our fur bud, great outdoor area! Thanks for a great stay.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, exceeded expectations. Really nice, clean, and a great spot etc.
