It was the perfect house for me and my friends for spring break! The distance to the ski resort you can’t beat it! Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to return! Jackie was accommodating, and the cabin had everything we could have needed. Watching the sunset from the hot tub, sitting by the fireplace, walking around the neighborhood, hiking various trails (or attempting due to mud and ice), and taking in the beautiful nearby sights were just a few highlights.

A wonderful little cabin nestled off of Hwy 44 between Rapid City and Johnson Siding. A great stay, as always!

Beautiful home in the woods! Plenty of space, clean, comfortable, many amenities, stocked kitchen and responsive host. We would love to stay again!

very beautiful views and very beautiful house! we managed to get a 5th wheel up to it with our side by side but I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you're super skilled with trailers. I have nothing to complain about with this house. Definitely would recommend the place to others to stay at! The hosts were VERY quick at responded which was top tier!!

Trystin was communicative and flexible. The cabin was nice and as described. Lots of info available before you arrive which was also helpful.

Amazing place , the house was stocked extremely well, the kitchen , laundry room, game room and the whole home has everything a family would want or need, a lot of thought has gone into this home. House was labeled throughout making everything easy to locate. Extra bonus was the wild deer and turkey on and near the property, kids loved seeing them.

Cozy cabin in a great location! We were traveling to visit the Black Hills and nearby national parks and monuments. We found this location to be very convenient and we loved the town of Deadwood! The cabin was clean and well stocked with essentials. I will call out that there is no door to the bathroom. The toilet and shower are located around a hall and although not within sight from the main room, there is not physical barrier offering privacy. While this worked out for us, I would have preferred privacy of a door or at minimum a curtain. This was still a 5 Star experience for us, but felt it was worth noting.

We had a great stay! Things were as advertised and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen, which we used often, was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The children enjoyed the basement room, with its games and toys. We used the hot tub once. It was also clean with towels by the door. My only complaint would be the hot water & water pressure situation. Only one person could shower at a time and only for a few minutes until the hot water was getting cold. It was a minor inconvenience to not be able to shower while the washer or dishwasher or another person was showering.

Quiet place with great canyon views. Backyard was a bonus and the stove fireplace inside was awesome. We really enjoyed the cabin.

Secluded space and wildlife all around. Lots of sleeping options, large bathroom, kitchen ready to cook in. Beautiful place to relax and unwind!

We just completed our four night stay and it was absolutely wonderful. We were pulling a trailer with two motorcycles so we needed to find a place to stay which could accommodate our trailer. Mackenzie’s place was perfect! It was just a little ways out of town, but so quiet and peaceful. The place was stocked with dishes, microwave, mini fridge, etc - but the fridge was the only thing we used. The bed was comfortable. We opened windows at night and it was really cool and comfortable. Our entire trip was perfect, until five minutes before we were ready to leave this morning at 6a and my boyfriend locked the keys in the car. I would absolutely book Mackenzie’s place again if we return to the area!!

Cabin 4 was clean and ready for us when we got there late. They left everything for me to just check in and rest right away. The bathrooms were just a shorts walk away and were very clean. The cabin was everything we need for a trip. Lara responded to everything I sent over with no problems on our end. Would come back.

This is our second time staying here - it’s just as beautiful in the fall as it is in the winter. My dog and I had a great time exploring, sitting on the deck, observing the wildlife (daily visits from many deer, turkeys, etc). It’s very peaceful. The deck is our favorite place to hang. The addition of the recliner inside is so great - as is the new deck furniture. Truly a little slice of heaven. Will definitely be back again!

Don't hesitate - book it. This place is incredible & one of my favorite Airbnb stays of all-time. When they say "Off-Grid Luxury", they MEAN IT down to the detail. The tile in the bathroom, the beautiful fire places, the tools in the kitchen; everything feels elevated, purposeful, and just NICE. We were celebrating our 8-year anniversary and found it to be the perfect place for us two; we didn't leave for the entire weekend. We cooked every meal, sat by the fire and talked, laid in the sunroom and watched birds, and made fires at night to watch the stars. It's incredibly secluded and felt like we were in our own little world (in the best way!) Things to note: it is remote (which is WONDERFUL), but if there's snow, have a car with 4-wheel drive. Also, the closest grocery store is at least a 30-minute drive (I think), so bring food with you! It is SO worth it. I am already trying to plan the next time we can go back!!

This place is EPIC! It felt so peaceful and my family didn't want to leave; because it was so special. If you are thinking about this place to stay, you better or you will be missing out.

Great place to stay. Great instructions, really simple on guests, and not a speck of dust. Amenities within the house are above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen at a property rental.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. It was very quick & easy to retrieve our key from the lock box with a code Crystal had provided shortly after booking. The 2 bedroom cabin was perfect for 2 couples and in a great location for checking out Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, and driving the Needles Highway. Crystal was very quick to respond to any questions we had and had our cabin equipped with everything we needed. Very clean & cozy!
