Welcome to “Maria’s Haven”💕 A beautiful cozy home in the heart of a beautiful small town. This home belonged to my mother, Maria, who passed away in 2020 to breast cancer. This home was truly her “Haven”. Take a walk to the local diner, museum, Gosport playground, local shops, or to our delicious Amish bakery. We are also just a few miles from the popular “Hilltop” restaurant as well as McCormicks Creek State Park. Our mission is to make you feel like you never even left home. ☺️

Celtic Glen is a working, 100 acre family farm of heritage breed livestock, nestled in an old limestone quarry on the banks of the White River, on one side, and Fall Creek, on another. Learn about regenerative farming with rare breeds on a farm tour, or mining and wetlands restoration on an ecological history tour. Pet and feed the livestock. Fish and bird-watch. Have coffee with goats. Eat farm craft meats, eggs, prepared soups, casseroles, and baked goods, or hop into town for a bite.

Things change here often as we are still building the winery, so come see what is new. Also visit the chickens, ducks , and turkeys.

The beautiful remote cabin sits on 4 acres and is surrounded by mature trees and two glistening ponds. Enjoy your day exploring the nearby Cataract Falls and spend your evening around a bonfire. Walking distance to neighborhood grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurants. Within 30 minutes of Bloomington and Indiana University! The hosts live full time in the main house with 2 great danes.

We are 8 mi to Mccormick's Creek park, 5 mi to Monroe County fairgrounds, 4 mi to West side shopping and restaurants, 7 mi to Memorial Stadium, 8 mi to College mall, 19 mi to Fairfax beach, and 21 mi scenic drive to Nashville, IN.
