A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

As rainfall throughout the year isn't consistent the water levels change at will. Vlei dry at this moment. means that you will either have a massive body of water enabling you to use the canoe or a dried up pan perfect for walks to the river. Have a kolkol hottub also at cabin

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.
