Picturesque Lagoon Cabin on Klein River Hermanus

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of bird and marine life at your doorstep. A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

AKWA House is located in Hermanus, with beautiful views of beaches, mountains & lagoon. Located 2 roads away from the famous Grotto blue flag beach. (10 min walk). AKWA sleeps 10-12 people. It has 5 bedrooms; 5 bathrooms. The house is family friendly with 2 lounges, one with pool table, table tennis table and bar area. We welcome large families or groups of friends to come and enjoy a wonderful stay and enjoy beautiful Hermanus. Akwa has a solar system which means no more loadshedding! .

The log cabin is situated in a bird sanctuary on the outskirts of Stanford overlooking the Klein Rivier It is raised on stilts allowing for one of a kind views of beautiful wetlands, mountain ranges and surroundings. As rainfall throughout the year isn't consistent the water levels change at will. Vlei dry at this moment. means that you will either have a massive body of water enabling you to use the canoe or a dried up pan perfect for walks to the river. Have a kolkol hottub also at cabin

Concordia Dam Cottage

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

Explore our renosterbos conservancy with some antelope and zebra, play in the river, fish and explore til your little ones pass out from exhaustion of all the farm fun!

Located on the Diepklowe Private Nature Reserve we have 1000 acres of fynbos and renosterveld that is home to a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Hikes, views, riverine forests, olive groves, streams and rock pools and a reed-ringed dam - swim, kayak, picnic or just sit under the willow tree and quietly enjoy the solitude.

This is the quintessential beach house. Wooden structure, large deck with sea and mountain views and surrounded by fynbos. 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open plan living space that is light and comfortable. The house is well equipped with an indoor wood burning fireplace & electric blankets . There is plenty of cutlery, crockery, glassware & other kitchen essentials including a food processor, French press and a Bialetti espresso coffee maker. There is a Weber Braai.

Vredenhof is close to the N2 highway, in the heart of the Elgin Valley, known for apple-growing, and exceptional wines. You’ll love the comfort and charm of this place. Ideal for couples, looking to escape the city, and relax in quiet, "country" surroundings. Not ideal for children. You could stroll through the orchards, canoe on the dam, enjoy the summer sun in your own pretty, private garden, or curl up, under eiderdowns in front of a crackling fire, in winter.
