Welcome to our modern farmhouse (minus the farm). Our little home is almost 100 years old! As such she isn’t perfect but she has a lot of character! We are located in a safe neighborhood just 5 minutes from downtown Kalamazoo and 10 minutes from the highway. 8 minutes to WMU. Whether you’re traveling for business, to visit loved ones, or just enjoy Kalamazoo we’d love to have you at our home. The Birds Nest is an above-the-garage studio apartment with a view of the valley and our working farm. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, our 36 acres provide a respite for the body and soul with trails and vistas, and engage the mind in sustainable agriculture with a discount on our Farm Tour & Tasting. Our water is from a well. It is tested regularly and is completely safe though it can have a sulfur smell at times. There is an RO filter/faucet in the kitchen for drinking water.
