This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! It's so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. There are also nice hiking trails nearby! The hosts were super friendly. I was greeted when I got to their property, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was so quaint and comfortable! I recommend this place if you want a quiet getaway!

This apartment was just a couple short blocks from downtown with a dedicated parking space. It was simple, clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay including all kitchen essentials, washer and dryer in unit, and extra towels. The added bonus included TV’s in bedrooms and adjustable beds which go up and down.

Diane’s place is a lovely studio perfect for a long term stay. Well equipped with everything you need. Diane was very responsive and accommodating.

A lovely, quiet home in a peaceful, rural-agricultural neighborhood overflowing with historical Oroville vibes. Some other reviewers have commented their concern over the local homeless population and while we did see one such fellow, it wasn't an issue and didn't cause us to feel unsafe. The dogs loved the open space throughout the house and the fenced yard -- FYI, though: if you have a small dog that could squeeze through a 5"x5" square, the backyard fencing likely wouldn't meet your needs. The back porch with string lights is a nice space to spend the evening or in the morning with coffee. Love the early morning rooster sounds nearby that are only audible from outside the home! I also truly appreciated the abundance of cozy blankets for snuggling up with. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Excellent stay for the entire family! It was very clean, smelled nice everywhere, and had warm, festive decor. The rooms are well put together and have a beautiful artwork. The hosts and service were great and kind. It’s also very conveniently located near a few nice restaurants and shops. Definitely a great spot to check in!

My family stayed at Kat + Jay’s place and felt like they never left home. The place was perfect! My family went to explore a little bit of the city and Chico State University. The house was clean, peaceful and ver comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, but yet close to campus, restaurants and local cafes. They home offered everything my family needed, and the stay was stress free and enjoyable. Kat and Jay were super responsive and kind and even made accommodations to make out check-out more comfortable. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay at Chico and we look forward to our next visit! ❤️

The Lassen House was a great spot to land for me and my family. Nice rancher floor plan with plenty of space for everyone to move about. The neighborhood was very quiet and the front yard is gorgeous. Kelsey was proactive in making sure that we had everything we needed and was always responsive to any questions. The house was in a great location in Chico in close proximity to all of the big ticket items. We would definitely stay again!

Place was very nice and clean. Check-in was easy and the instructions were easy to follow. The house is very close to the town. I would recommend this residence.

Chris was very responsive with easy instructions and helpful tips for the house. It is located very close to Chico State across from the high school and an easy walk to downtown (maybe ~20 minutes). As others noted, the floor plan is a little funky but suited the four of us perfectly with good size rooms and 2 full bathrooms. We hope to return!

Bri and Daniel's place was a perfect location for the type of girl's weekend we wanted. We loved the high ceilings and huge upstairs room. There were so many spots for gathering and chatting in the kitchen area. All the rooms were cute, clean and comfortable. We also really appreciated extra linens and extra sleeping spaces (like the futon in the loft), for those that prefer their own space. Note that the "Neverland" play room is attached to the large family room upstairs, and that the bathroom/shower in that room is open ceiling. All of my guests absolutely adored the space and no one wanted to leave. I especially appreciated Bri's extra communication in regards to the activities we wanted to do. We all agreed that the location being right next to Bidwell Park made it the perfect spot. It made it easy for us to enjoy a long group bike ride, and also for individuals to enjoy a walk or run whenever they felt like it. Thank you Bri & Daniel for an unforgettable weekend.

Absolutely phenomenal in every way! We had the true pleasure of calling ol blue home for Easter weekend, and it was a dream. The home is gorgeous inside, what wonderful decor and furniture. The sunroom was divine, and the space was even larger than expected. We cooked meals as a family in the lovely kitchen, played frisbee in the big front yard, walked to one mile each day, and enjoyed every moment. Billie is a consummate, world class host, and made our experience so very special!! We cannot wait to come back and couldn’t recommend the Ol Blue higher!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time here. The house is beautiful and spacious. We were a big family and our kids (4 kids ages 3 - 11) really enjoyed the play room and bunk beds. the kitchen pretty much had everything we needed. the backyard is absolutely beautiful. this home had everything we needed. Michael and his family have been so helpful and responsive to our messages. We sincerely appreciate their time, and we highly recommend this place to everyone.

Beyond expectations. I cannot wait to return here at least annually. One of the best airbnbs - surrounded by nature and serenity. Wish I could buy the home lol!
