Great property, lovely host to deal with.

...die Anfahrt ist ehrlich gesagt, nicht ganz einfach, die Cannigall Road existiert schlichtweg im Navi nicht. Aber dem Wegweiser nach Cannigall, ca. 3km vor Kirkwall/Highland Park - aus Süden kommend - folgen. Ab dann greift Amys Wegbeschreibung perfekt! Amys Warnung, viele Monate vorher..., wichtige Eintrittskarten vorher zu buchen waren Gold wert! Ansonsten können einen die Kreuzfahrtschiffe überrennen/den Eintritt tagelang verwehren... Die Wohnung selber ist ein Traum, neu, hell, modern, warm und sehr sauber. Eine Treppe hoch und natürlich auf dem Berg mit viel Wind - Eingangstür immer aufmerksam festhalten!!! Ein bisschen wie auf Island ;) Betten super, Küche und Bad in perfekter Ausstattung, viele Kuscheldecken gegen die Zugluft...

I had a lovely stay at Ingleside studio and would highly recommend coming to stay there! Barbara was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The studio was very clean and well equipped and thank you for the great welcome pack! The location was gorgeous with some beautiful sunsets! As I don’t drive, it’s only also situated only a short walk from the bus station which was handy for getting around the island

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Seaview Cottage. If you are looking for a supremely peaceful location with the most stunning views, this is definitely the place. I also found the owner Carol going above and beyond, for example arranging transport for me to pick up my hire car the next day. She even waited outside in the cold with a torch to guide my taxi driver on the first evening, as we arrived in the dark. Highly recommend. PS. I read somebody complaining in one of the other reviews about the (supposed) lack of cleanliness in the cottage and cold shower water, but this is really not true. On the contrary, I found the cottage to be spotlessly clean (and the shower nice and hot, you just have to switch the hot water button on ...).

Marston Cabin is immaculately presented and a lovely place to come back to after a day in the Sanday fresh air. The homemade loaf of bread and cakes were much appreciated. It was very well equipped with everything you needed and the sitting area and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you. It was a lovely stay.

Toft...what can I say?It makes such a difference if somebody loves hosting & going the extra mile in creating a home from home. The house is incredible tastefully decorated including cosy blankets, lovely cushions, matching kitchenware, local wall art... - such a sight for sore eyes. And you instantly feel at home. Jane provided some great breakfast food to get you started. You have literally EVERYTHING you need - and more...really interesting books (not the old ones you wanted to get rid off or people left behind) and games, too. When we first arrived we could not believe the location - you have a breathtaking view on Hoy from the lounge and the bedroom. You could basically just snuggle up and stare at the sea the whole day. Jane is superfriendly & SO discrete, you do not even notice she lives next door, yet she is always there when you need her. And her adorable cat who we instantly fell in love with! We did not want to leave. Toft is beyond beautiful. Thank you SO much, Jane

We enjoyed our stay. Wonderful views over the Bay of Skaill in a very peaceful location. We had everything we needed in the accommodation and it was very comfortable.

had a lovely weekend at Nistaben. Wendy and Dan were kind enough to pick us up and drop us back at the airport, even give us a tour of the island! the cottage itself was gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice. overall a really great weekend, and we'll definitely be back soon! thanks!
