Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was nice and tidy, had no issues at all. Views out both sides were probabaly the highlight and a lovely deck that goes around the house. Overall good layout and had a good time!

The overall experience was very good. Being in a private space, sure helps feeling relaxed and at peace. Enjoy the early sunrise over a cup of coffee and finish enjoying the outdoor tubs with my wife over a glass of champagne was perfect.

Stunning views and a beautiful property. Came with family for a little weekend holiday and we really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. The house is so well laid out and designed, each bedroom has its own en suite and everyone had their own space to relax. While the weather was not as hot and sunny as we had hoped we still used the pool and spa and also enjoyed the game room. Great place to unwind and relax with family or friends!

We had a fantastic stay in Adrienne’s place whilst visiting family living close by. We enjoyed the family orientated spaces and the kids loved the pool and table tennis table. The kitchen allowed us to cook and dine altogether which was a really lovely thing to be able to do with our extended family and we enjoyed movies and boardgames in the evening afterwards. It’s a fab house and well worth the money🙌 Adrienne has all bases covered when it comes to kitchen equipment, utensils, consumables, towels, blankets etc. it really was a home away from home for us our only regret was that we couldn’t have booked it for longer. When we return we will definitely hoping we can book here again 🙏Many thanks to Adrienne again for sharing this special family space with us🙌

had a wonderful time. the facilities on offer were so much fun and great for a large group. they were very flexible with the chaos of organizing many people and the changes we requested.

Beautiful home with an equally beautiful view of the sea. Had everything we could have possibly wanted or needed. The homemade chocolate cake was an appreciated extra.

We loved our stay. It was fabulously pristine and lovely. The pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Amazing shower pressure. Moose the dog was so sweet and friendly. A great all round stay. Would highly recommend.

A nice quiet rural dwelling. Comfortable large living area with two bathrooms. Out door BBQ and seating was a bonus. We were a group of 6 adults who used the dwelling as a base for a 5 day golf trip in the Bay of Plenty. Lovely modern kitchen with large 8 seater dining table. Very peaceful location. Handy to Matata and Whakatane. Neryda was always available to be contacted by phone if we needrd anything. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

I loved staying at Juliet's place. It gets great morning sun and has amazing views of the nature. It is quiet and peaceful and cozy. Juliet was responsive and got right back to me when I had a couple of questions. All in all it was a great stay and I can't wait to stay there again. Thank you Juliet!

We were in town for a family birthday.. This house is super close to Whakatane Town centre. Had everything we needed. The deck was fenced which helped keep our furbaby inside. Plenty of parking. Has a real family vibe.

Had the most incredible stay at this peaceful Lake Tarawera Airbnb after my friend’s wedding at the Black Barn. The location was absolutely stunning – waking up to lake views and birdsong was the perfect way to wind down after the celebrations. The place was super clean, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. It was the ideal spot to relax, recharge, and take in the natural beauty of the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone heading out that way – whether for a wedding or just a quiet weekend escape. Massive thanks to the hosts for such a memorable stay!

Absolute a great place to escape and relax for a family or 2 couples! Warm, very well maintained and how can you beat waking up to the sunrise coming out of the ocean!

Very large, clean house that was warmed by the sun, and in the evening was toasty with the gas heater. Two large lounges, generous kitchen that functions well. Hot bbq! Good location - within walking distance to the river walkway, and the town. There is quite a bit of road noise if you are sitting outside.

Great place for 2 families to enjoy, plenty of room and the tennis court kept the kids entertained for hours. Location was great with a play ground and boat ramps very close. Plenty of parking for boat and jet skis. Had everything we needed and more. Great place would love to go back.

Phenomenal location, comfortable, clean, and relaxing. We loved our stay in this beautiful house. The layout has plenty of seating for your entire group with lots of quaint pockets for peaceful viewing of the ocean or the sound. The beachfront access is perfection and I personally loved the windows in the master bedroom. I could stay there forever. There is no central air conditioning but the breeze from the open windows in the summer kept us plenty cool. There is only one plug in the bunk room so charge your phone upstairs. A minor inconvenience for the big payoff of a quiet and gorgeous location. Maggie, our host was very communicative and helpful. We would love to come back and stay again!

We had a wonderful family getaway at Gail’s Bach! Unfortunately the Easter weekend weather did not cooperate and stormed most of our stay, but the design of the space meant we were able to enjoy quality time indoors without feeling too on top of each other. And we spent many hours playing games and completing a puzzle provided in the home! The dining space really makes the home complete, able to seat us all comfortably and with a gorgeous lake view. Super thankful to also have our jetski tied to the jetty spot below the house. The boat ramp is super close in the bay and easy to use which was lovely - for the brief periods of fine weather we could take it out! Great memories made, thank you so much.
