Welcome to your peaceful Getaway on the Waterway right on the beautiful canal that connects Big and Little Lake Weir! Kick your feet up and wave at the boats going by as you grill or fish from the dock. Play a round of corn hole, hop on one of our paddleboards or kayaks for beautiful ride to either lake! Bring your boat/ jet ski or rent one from Eaton's Beach Aquatic sports, (they also offer sunset cruises and water taxi service to Eaton's Beach restaurant right from our dock!) RELAX and ENJOY!

The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Unfortunately, the giant tub is not operational.

Bring your fishing gear or small boat to enjoy a fun getaway at the Captain's Cottage with a dock on Lake Stella. Key-less entry allows for self check-in and welcomes you to this comfortable clean 962 sq. ft. space with two queen size beds, one bathroom, full kitchen, florida room, and a fenced-in backyard. A paddle boat is provided. Three kayaks and 2 bicycles are also available! Or you can bring your boat and go fishing! Enjoy swimming, lovely sunsets and strolls around the beautiful lake.

Our little cottage has a so much to offer! The sunsets are stunning! The memories you will take home with you, will last a lifetime. Small but lives large is the best way to describe our beauty! Full kitchen, the bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a walk in closet that provides plenty of room for your personal belongings. The full size and twin size pull out beds allow you to bring guest along. Need to work? Do it with a view or forget it and take a kayak out on the lake for some R&R.

Enjoy stunning lake views while sipping your morning coffee on the back deck. Lots of paddling options exist here on spring-fed Sand Lake. Hosts offer a paddle boat, canoe, and paddle boards for your enjoyment. Practice yoga on your own private deck, fish from the dock, or star gaze around the campfire each night. All that and it's located only 10 minutes from The Villages where you can shop and have fun. Centrally located 1-1/2 hours from Disney, Daytona beach, and Tampa. Lockbox key access is available for check-ins at any time of day.
