Crystal’s house was everything we expected it to be, neat, clean and a little on the funky side. We were in town for a wedding and had our two children, their spouses and five grandchildren, all under 10. It was really nice to have a yard the kids could play in so they could burn off some energy. We would definitely recommend Crystal‘s house to friends.

All I can say is 10 out of 10, recommend. Nicest host, great get AWAY, and beautiful scenery. Would stay here if I could! Can’t wait to come back this summer!

This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in. Kay was great. She even had the rental available before check-in time. The breakfast items she provided were so appreciated. When traveling to Farmville again we will definitely stay at this rental.

Everything was perfect! Eric was so responsive and let us know about a road closure ahead of time. And then we had a change of plans and he allowed us to check in a couple of house early. He was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel like friends. We loved the dogs that greeted us right away. Eric gave us a quick tour of the home and let us know if we needed anything to just reach out. The house was so adorable and comfy and we felt right at home! He even offered some great recommendations on places to eat and get some food/snacks. We couldn’t have asked for a better host and house to stay in!

Close to Swim RVA and the soccer fields. much more convenient than staying on Midlothian Turnpike...and no traffic! Everyone had their own bed, and it's so nice for the adults to be able to stay up when the swimmers are early to bed early to rise. The place was clean, and we look forward to staying there again!

This location was beautiful. It was located 30 minutes outside of Farmville. With 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths it was perfect for a large get together.

We visited our son in Longwood University which brought us to Kira’s cabin. The cabin is a short drive from downtown Farmville, less than 15 minutes, rests on a large open grassy field with a nice sized fireplace and a few hiking paths. The interior of the cabin is very welcoming, the feel is that of a late 19th century hunter’s cabin with modern features like wi-fi, central air, entertainment center, and a modern kitchen. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. We felt like we visited our family or close friend’s home. Thank you!

Great accommodation on a working farm, with idyllic surroundings & a friendly family of horses for company. Property was as described, perfect for a family getaway and had everything we needed. Lovely to do horse riding with Gail & communication all round very easy. Highly recommended!

Sadly, my husband and I didn’t have the chance to stay here because of water issues, but Patricia arranged a hotel for us. We planned to stay here the night of our wedding. We were bummed we couldn’t stay here, but the hotel was wonderful. We had an issue with payment and the hotel ended up charging us but Patricia promptly sent us the money back via “Venmö” The hotel was also more expensive and they covered the additional cost which was very kind. Hopefully the next time we are in the area we can stay with them! Overall amazing hosts and went above and beyond.

We enjoyed our stay. We had seven in our party and the three bedrooms and baths were great. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The living room and kitchen were large enough for our big group. Parking was easy. The location was great because it was near our family's house and near Forest Hill Park, where we had an event. The only concern that I had was that the top bedroom, in the converted attic space, was a bit hot during the day, but it cooled off by nighttime. We would stay again.

Hosts were very responsive. Pamela was very friendly and communicated well. It was a nice and peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back when in the area!

My brother had to have surgery at the Veterans Hosp. Neither of us live in Richmond. So we rented this lovely place with wonderful old Victorian and Craftsman style homes surrounding it. (No worries to park on the street.) The furnishings were adequate, the kitchen was cute, and the bathrooms were also satisfactory. The proximity to the Veterans Hosp was outstanding and our greatest need; it was terrific to be able to get there quickly at o'dark- thirty without traffic issues. It made it easy to go back to the house to rest or eat easily. If we have to schedule more procedures or treatments at the VA, we will come back.

Pam has provided numerous students with safe and secure housing over the past couple of years, and for that we are most grateful!

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

I recently stayed at the Carlin cabin Airbnb and it was a delightful experience. The cabin was incredibly clean and had a charming, rustic feel with all the beautiful wood accents. It truly felt like a cozy retreat. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious cinnamon rolls they provided; they were a perfect addition to my mornings. Overall, I highly recommend the Carlin cabin for anyone looking for a cute and comfortable getaway!

We had an amazing long weekend with both our dogs! It was our first vacation with them both and this cain did not disappoint. We truly had R&R and we are planning our next trip very soon!! oh! and the wildlife is so fun! from the herons, fish and turtles to the lovely donkey 🤣.

My stay at Weldon’s Place was absolutely wonderful. I needed to rest in a peaceful environment and that’s what I got. The cottage was clean, had everything I needed and the bed was so comfortable. It was so beautiful to sit at the kitchen table and look out at the pond and how well kept the grounds were. Jackson was friendly and I can’t wait to stay again. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway with nature…this is it.

We had a truly enjoyable stay. The house was exactly as described, very clean, and well stocked. Caryn was an accommodating host and very easy to work with and communicated well. We hope to return soon and would not hesitate to reserve this home again.

Was a great way to be out doors but not in a tent! The creek was our favorite. No need to go anywhere our whole stay. Wonderfully dark and quiet at night . A great get away
