We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Isobel was a fantastic host. We appreciated the extras left for us and enjoyed the log burning fire every evening during our stay. The surrounding area is stunning! Maps and guidence for local walks were provided, which we definitely took advantage of during the nice weather. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend a stay at The Garden House.

Beautiful pod! Host communication was spot on. Recommended places to eat, detail as to where everything is located. Place was really clean. Everything we needed was available. Coffee, tea, playing cards, shampoo ect. Comfy bed Lovely stay! Thank you :)

We had an unforgettable stay! From the moment we arrived, Melissa made us feel completely at home. She’s an incredible host, warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The property itself was even better than we imagined, beautifully maintained, stylishly furnished, and set in the most peaceful, calming location. It was the perfect escape from busy everyday life. Every little detail showed real care and thought, and it honestly felt like a true home away from home. We loved every minute - from cozy evenings by the fire to quiet mornings soaking in the beautiful surroundings. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. If you’re looking for the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy some proper peace and quiet, we couldn’t recommend Melissa’s place highly enough. What a beautiful place to stay - the lodge was beautifully finished and the small touches were great. The hot tub was wonderful, and it was idyllic. Danielle was super helpful and it was genuinely a wonderful peaceful stay.

A little gem of a place! Lovely peaceful location on a small farm with just two pods, so it feels very private and relaxing. The pod was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome box with fresh eggs, bread, milk, and a delicious little cake – such a thoughtful touch. Andrew the farmer was so friendly and even invited us to see the cows being milked and let the kids help feed an orphan lamb – a real unexpected highlight! We loved our mini stay and would happily return. Pleased to support hardworking farming families like this.

This stay was absolutely amazing, so peaceful and Peter was so welcoming and showed us around. The sheep and the alpacas are a very nice touch especially being given food to feed them both. The bbq area was a new experience, we have already decided we will be coming back to here at some point

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic stay. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and the views were amazing. The Hut was equipped with everything you’d need with plenty of towels and always plenty of hot water. The Hot Tub was perfect. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.
