Shepherd's Hut Glamping on a Smallholding

Secluded glamping getaway from every day life. The Shepherd’s Hut @ Willowdene House is located away from it all yet close enough to enjoy all that Northumberland has to offer - from the scenary of coast & hills to historic properties, art galleries & gardens to visit. The hut has a double bed and kitchen. Outside is a seating area with fire pit. Composting toilet & outdoor shower are located in separate sheds. We warmly welcome you to stay in Bluebell, at the Old Railway Station, in a beautiful part of Northumberland, nestled between the coast and the hills. We provide some 'goodies', including locally made biscuits, milk, tea & coffee, to assist self-catering, as well as fresh eggs from our happy hens! The highly acclaimed Running Fox cafe & The Plough Inn are just a 5 minute drive away, in Powburn, plus a well stocked shop. There are plenty other places to eat in Alnwick and the surrounding area.

Beautifully Restored Vintage 1930s Threshers Hut

The Harvest hut is a beautiful, award winning, genuine 1930s threshers hut set in its own area of woodland, and features handmade 4 poster bed, luxury organic bedding, woodburning stove, homemade cake of your choice to enjoy on arrival. The hut is a truly romantic place to get away from the rigours of the world, escape and be close to nature, enjoy campfires, fantastic sunsets, visits from red squirrels and amazing starlit nights. Guests have their own personal bathroom with underfloor heating.

Ben's Hut

Set on a working sheep farm, Ben’s Hut offers a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There is a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm and welcoming at any time of year. Thing to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham City, Kilhope Lead mining Museum, The Metro Centre (shop 'til you drop). The C2C cycle track is also close.

The Sheepwash Shepherds Hut Morpeth

Beautiful cosy Shepherds Hut with views over the local countryside. We have recently installed a wood burning hot tub! No water jets or flashy lights or music, just rustic charm to relax in. This does need to be booked in advance, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required at a charge of £40. We will have the water heated to around 40c for your arrival, this temperature will be maintained for several hours but if you would like to top up the heat you are welcome to light the woodburner.

The Humble Hut

The Humble Hut is cosy with everything you need to feel at home. On warm days, open the top dutch door and let the air flow through and when its cold its great to snuggle up by the fire. Outside there is a private area that is ideal for sunbathing or having lunch or a glass of wine. There is seating around the hut so what ever time of day you can find a place to sit in the sun and admire the stunning views. At night if the sky is clear you can star gaze as we are in a dark sky area.

Take it easy at our unique converted Goods Wagon, with detached luxury bathroom. Complete with private garden, and a decking overlooking beautiful views of rolling fields. This place is truly perfect for a romantic getaway, and an equally perfect base to explore the beaches, walks, golf courses and everything else the local area has to offer. It’s even within walking distance of Alnmouth train station.
