We really loved our stay at the Desert House. The layout of the house is terrific - we were two couples and a baby. The outdoor area between the kitchen and second bedroom and bathroom was very relaxing and we enjoyed it at all times of the day. Wonderful artworks and light fittings add to the welcoming vibe.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Megan hat uns für die Umgebung ein paar Tipps gegeben die wir gern angenommen haben. Wir hatten sehr schöne Gespräche mit ihr. Megan schreibt sehr schnell zurück wenn wir eine Frage hatten und hilft wo sie kann. Ca 30 min zu Fuß entfernt findet ihr Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einen Patkplatz an der Strasse haben auch schnell gefunden. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der einen ruhigen Ort zur Entspannung sucht oder auch etwas Gesellschaft. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

Julian was a great host and the property is in the perfect location, close enough but far away from the bars and restaurants as well as a short distance to the wharf for fishing charters.

We had a special experience staying at Ooramina. There was hardly anyone around and we enjoyed clear, starry nights and campfires. Our boys loved climbing all over the rocks and exploring the property. The beds were comfortable, the shower hot and there were better than expected kitchen amenities. Would recommend bringing something easy to cook on the electric fry pan as well as breakfast food and of course marshmallows. We also had a great home cooked meal at the homestead.

The home was all we could have wished for, comfortable and relaxing indoors or around the pool. The home amenities were generous for cooking and bathing….plenty of towels! We absolutely loved our stay at this home in the outback… beautiful birds, goats to feed our scraps to, a lovely gem of a home, great pool, and friendly host Lyndee, who bent over backward for us! Highly recommend staying here!

Annie and Bill were delightful, friendly hosts. They had much to share about the magic of Alice Springs and their journey. It was a pleasure to be in their company.
