Knowing we were new to the area, she even took the time to accompany us to a nearby store to get groceries — such a thoughtful gesture! Cathy truly went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and extremely comfortable. What impressed us most was how she helped us plan our itinerary for the next day. We were short on time, and she suggested the most convenient and worthwhile sightseeing spots, saving us a lot of stress and effort. I genuinely believe Cathy is the best host I’ve ever met on Airbnb. Her kindness, attention to detail, and hospitality made our trip extra special. Without a doubt, I will stay at her place again whenever I’m in Shillong!

An amazing place to live temporarily. We stayed for 12 days. We never felt that we were out of our own place. I would definitely recommend this place.

It was great experience staying for the night at the property.Surrounded by beutiful Jurpukhuri also others are at walking distance,so clean and home like environment,also I got a flexible check in which became very helpful for me,the caretaker John Baishya took good care of my check in,also very polite and responsive. All in all it was a place like to be visited again.

Devdutt was a warm and welcoming host who helped with everything. He was politely available for every request. The place was neatly kept and had all the amenities mentioned. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Beautiful place (even better than what you see in the pics). The balcony is huge and truly the highlight of the apartment. Very well equipped kitchen plus washing machine. The place was very tastefully and thoughtfully done up. The hosts had anticipated every need and question we might have and taken care of it before our arrival. Their Airbnb and WA communication was exceptional - proactive, prompt and clear. The onsite host did a walk-thru pf the apt to familiarize us with the layouts. All light, fan and appliance switches and EVERYTHING was labeled. They offered us complimentary airport pickup. The apt is very well located - on a quiet side street and a 12-15 min walk to Central Park in Salt Lake. Ubers are easily. City Center mall is 30 min walk. Host knows of a reliable cab service and a home cooked (Bengali) food delivery service. A truly wonderful experience at Somma’s place. Would highly recommend this property.

my wife and I enjoyed our stay at Ruma's place. everything was as described. we loved the location! The metro is a short walk and it was easy to get a taxi. Anything you need is a short walk away. We would definitely stay again.

The Airbnb truly felt like home. It was a perfect place for all of us to get together. Kunzang was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I had informed him that we would be arriving early, and he welcomed us with no hesitation. On the day we were leaving, our cab was delayed by a few hours. Kunzang was kind enough to let us stay a bit longer, which we really appreciated. Thank you for hosting us. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others, and I’m already looking forward to booking it again!

Great apartment and great location! Sheikh was always available and ready to assist. Really appreciate the pre-departure communication and details shared. This is a lovely apartment in Dum Dum, centrally located (near to shopping and business areas), yet safe and quiet at night. The park is not far where buses connect to all of Kolkata. The apartment, on the ground floor, has two good-sized rooms: bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of closet and storage space (as well as extra bedding and towels). The living area has enough space for working and other activities. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cooking and table-ware, dry foods, teas, spices, etc. There's a washing machine, hot water, and housekeeper regularly available. The hosts Nandita and Rohit are kind, responsible, supportive. They checked in to meet my needs in helpful ways, e.g., by purchasing fruits and vegetables for me (when I couldn't yet find them on my own) and to offer me Indian-style foods to try. They have a beautiful family with two children. They gave me both privacy and hospitality. I enjoyed my interactions with all of them immensely.

Had gone there for some work and had a good stay

I stayed with my parents and my uncle and aunt and this place was spacious, airy and comfortable, elegantly decorated and felt like a home away from home. The location is central, with sights like Satyajit Ray's home and Subhash Bhavan nearby. The caretaker, Subhash is excellent and was most helpful with the dietary requirements of four aged people. I would definitely book this property again if I am visiting Kolkata.

The stay was too good. Only the almirah's door is quite tough. its difficult to open. Rest all good and host is very responsive and friendly
