Yingyangpad - wheelchair/accessible accommodation

WELCOME Now open for 2026 and looking forward to greeting guests both new and old. Built under the guidance of a wheelchair using friend we have provided most, but not all, of the facilities to suit less mobile visitors, although everyone is more than welcome to stay with us. It is rustic themed and located around 5 mls (8km) from the A1 and 3 (5km) from the M62 motorway, with good road/rail and bus links. All our guests have the full private use of the detached annexe during their stay.

Captain Cook’s Cottage is located in the heart of Staithes. It has narrow winding streets leading to various points of natural beauty. The cottage is fully equipped and sleeps 7 (2 doubles and 1 triple). No pets and no smoking. Self catering. There is walking access to activities and amenities; recommendations available upon request. Guests can park temporarily to unload but will need to park elsewhere. Glen Vale parking is recommended which can be booked online. WiFi is free.

Hootsman

Hootsman – A Cosy Cottage with a Wood-Fired Hot Tub Hootsman is a converted stone barn on our rare breed goat farm, set on the edge of Rosedale Abbey in the North York Moors National Park. Inside, you'll find an open-plan living kitchen with hand-painted units, a wood-burning stove, and an en-suite bedroom with a bespoke double bed. The Shippen, Old Low Moor Farm near Thirsk

Completed in July 2018, the Shippen is a two bedroom, two bathroom, luxury barn conversion with an open plan living/ dining/ kitchen. The Shippen is single storey and is wheelchair friendly. It is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North York Moors National Park but with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire coast.
