Our newly renovated cabins are located 10 minutes from downtown Natchitoches, LA on 30 acres of gated property on Bayou Pierre. It is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. Upstairs the cabin has a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft area with two twin bed, and also a living area, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs. Come relax on the back porch on the swing. It is equipped with Satellite, WIFI, basic kitchen supplies, bedding, a grill, and more. We have trails to explore and a floating dock in the bayou!

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.It is a few blocks from restaurants and shopping. Your pet will love the spacious backyard. There are two bedrooms and one full bath. Please note there is not a bath tub but a shower only. The master bedroom has a queen bed while the second bedroom has the double bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need to cook. We have it stocked with the essential seasonings as well as coffee, sugar, etc.

Piney Woods A-Frame is a cozy rustic cabin tucked away from it all to give you the solitude you've been craving. This is the prefect place for a couples get away, a girls’ weekend, a fishing trip, or just a solo escape. Outdoor lovers will get the best of both worlds here- escape to a cabin in the woods while also being right on the water! Water levels are back to normal so you can enjoy taking out the kayaks! There’s stocked firewood for campfires, board games, & propane for grilling!

When you arrive you will find a 1938 brick home set on a shady hill, a dedicated parking space and private entrance off of the screened in porch. We are the second driveway on the right. The property is surrounded by nature which gives the impression of being out in the country, when in fact, "civilization" is a mere 2 minutes away. Interstate I-20 is also just minutes away. The private bedroom's amenities include modern appliances and antiques that complement the look of the home.

Rooster Ridge (owned and operated by Laughing Rooster, LLC) is a rustic cabin with many of the comforts and amenities of home. The cabin was built for guests and sits securely behind our family home overlooking the beautiful Ouachita River. This private house sleeps 3 in the bedroom and 1 on the couch. I do have an inflatable queen mattress that can be used upon request. It has a full kitchen and private washer/dryer also.There is a fenced yard for a large dog, but the fence is wide enough that a small dog will be able to escape. Located within 8 miles of I-20, University of Louisiana at Monroe, and Pecanland Mall.
