The place was wonderful! It was clean and had a lot of extras to make the stay very comfortable. The fenced backyard was great for our puppy. Two washing machines! Beautiful screened in front porch! I could go on and on! If in the area I would definitely book again!

This house is perfect for any group of anglers wanting to fish at Caney Lake. It has ample parking for several boats. It is located close to a major boat ramp, and the gas station is just right around the corner! Overall, this stay was amazing!

Great place to stay, would certainly stay again if in the area. The backyard is so peaceful. Seen the baby gator pop up a few times also 😍😍. All amenities were also provided, which was awesome. Even a washer and dryer!!

We booked our reservation last minute as a family member passed away the day before. We checked in less than 20 hours after booking and Gene was amazingly quick to reply when we reached out with questions! If I didn’t see his message/reply in the AirBnb app, he sent me a text message. From that moment on, I knew he was going to be a great host…and a very caring one at that! We will definitely stay with Gene again!

Brandon was an excellent and very responsive host! The apartment was exactly what I needed - quiet, close to restaurants, fully furnished.

Location, location, location. This is a wonderful apartment in the historic district of Vicksburg, within walking distance of museums, restaurants, coffee shops and shops. It is only two miles from the National Military Park. There is an on-site manager who is quick to respond. I would highly recommend this place for a Vicksburg visit.

We had a great stay. At first I was a little skeptical just because of the surrounding areas you have to go through to get there but once we made it we felt safe and was in a good area. The lake out back was BEAUTIFUL and my kids loved seeing the turtles out there each morning! The beds & couches were comfortable and everything was clean!

This was our first trip with our pups and we needed a quiet place away from foot traffic. This place is near downtown and the grounds were lovely. When renovating, some structural components were left intact, contributing to the charm of the place. The brick sidewalks are aesthetically pleasing but might be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The cottages are located by the train tracks and we liked that after the initial train went through - a bit surprising how the sound carried. It’s a neighborhood with a mixture of renovated historical mansions and houses needing renovation, all which we found interesting.

This has been one of the most pleasant trips I’ve had. From the time I walked in I felt right at home, the place was just as described and to be honest the pictures doesn’t do this place its true justice. Very comfortable and cozy and this will definitely be my go to place when in Shreveport.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this historic home. The history in the hills of Vicksburg is rampant and this is smack dab in the middle of it all. Tim even met us at the door late at night to help us unload and carry our things up the stairs! Great folks and plenty to do downtown!

Gary's cabin was just what we needed! Plenty of room for us and our daughter. The property is really pretty! It is far enough away for it to be peaceful but close enough to restaurants, stores. etc. with a quick 15-20 minute drive to everything. Gary was super nice and quickly responded to all my questions before and during check in!

Good communicate, clear instructions, great view and great inlet location 2-3 ft water tons of cypress trees, kayaking was a blast, good fishing areas, cabin is small, but it's newer, clean, and nice quality. Solid place to stay.

Cute & spotlessly clean house! Love the location! Perfect for launching a kayak right from the backyard & we spent lots of time on the water. Was our second stay here & hopefully one day we will stay again.

I requested to book at the very last minute. Jennifer responded promptly, was flexible, accommodating and very pleasant to interact with. Though POINT Emerald Cabin looked nice on the outside, the inside was exquisite, designed & decorated like a picture out of a magazine! The living area had 2 skylights & a stone fireplace, and both bedrooms were spacious, had large windows & doors opening to the screened-in back porch. Outside, the water surrounded the big backyard on 3 sides and had beautiful, tall Cypress trees growing out of it, through which to kayak or canoe using the plenty available. There were also 3 different areas set up with lawn/patio furniture to relax and take in the scenery: one in front by the grill, another in the side yard near the boathouse, and a third around a firepit near the water. Despite undesirable weather, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to return very soon! Thank you again Jennifer for being a great host!

Perfect cabin on the lake! We had a great weekend staying here. It was clean, organized neatly and had the best views. Highly recommend. Thanks for having us!

House was great place to stay with family and had everything we needed

Easy location to get on highway and grocery stores for food. Comfortable and relaxing to sit and watch the lake. Only thing you need to be aware of is the Yellowjacket’s are about check house and beds. They are sneaking.
